Ugh. I can't stand The Rolling Stones. Not surprised the sell outs would put their stuff on AI.

Mike - Miss You
This song is a main reason I don't like the Rolling Stones. Such a wide array of bad music. This was one of their disco songs & it sounded more like Mike was doing Abba. I hated the song. Mike was OK on it but he got an arrow down from me. Just wasn't into it. Randy said he reminded him of what a great performer he's become. Ellen said what's not to love about that. [A lot actually.] She thought it was amazing. Kara said the Stones are incredible performers & he delivered. Simon said he definitely has his confidence up but the performance was corny at times. He sang it well but it was verging on desperate. & speaking of definitely having their confidence up, Ryan becomes more of a douchebag each day as he tried to confront Simon claiming he was just trying to get constructive criticism so Mike can stay. I wish Ryan would just STFU.
DiDi - Play with Fire
She messed up the words multiple times & was pitchy. It was another awful song but I guess I shouldn't take points off for that cuz it is the Stones after all. I have liked this chick every week but it was a big arrow down for me. I hated that. I should have known the week I don't like her, the judges would rave. Randy said for the 1st time in weeks she was on fire. Ellen said she has an amazing voice. She got lost along the way but got it back & sounded great. Kara said when she pushes her vocals is when she loses her way. But she had the intensity & got dark so she thinks it's 2 steps in the right direction. Simon said she is beginning to show what kind of artist she wants to be. I LoLd at that cuz she has done the same thing every week but now she is showing it? He thought it was a very cool choice of song & said he's been a fan for 2-3 weeks.
Casey - It's All Over Now
He played guitar & it was all countrified so right in his wheel house. I thought his vocal was pretty good & the best so far tonight. But the song & performance was so dull. Randy said he is back to the Casey he loved & he loved it. Ellen thought it was fantastic. Kara said he was a rock star [no, he was country]. It had country, blues & soul & he showed his soul. She thought it was his best. Simon didn't agree & compared it to an audition. He told him he has gotta push himself. He's a very good artist & people like him but he's gotta do more.
Lacey - Ruby Tuesday
She is just always on the verge for me. It sounds like it could be good & interesting but there is something just not there. & this time her vibrato drove me bonkers. Arrow sideways. Randy said it was a very interesting arrangement but there wasn't a wow moment. Ellen thought it was weird that she walked during the slow part & then sat down when it got faster. She was a tad sleepy but is a fan. Kara was 50/10. There were some issues & didn't hit the notes right. Simon said she performs like an actress. There's nothing wrong w/ the vocals. The song was OK. She needs to stop overthinking & let go. I have to mention that Lacey's outfit was a joke. She was wearing 2 shirts. The top was like a tube top. Just ridiculous.
Andrew - Gimme Shelter
He didn't play the guitar this time but he still pussified the song. When he sang the verses it sounded good but the choruses were awful. I didn't like it. Randy loves the song & Andrew but it was pitchy everywhere. Ellen thought it was his best yet & she loved it. Kara said there were elements you could hear the tone they've been missing from him but she wanted to feel the lyrics & for him to make a connection & that bothered her. Well you bother me Kara so we're even. No, we're not. You annoy me more. Simon once again ripped on Kara & I loved it. He said she is taking it too literally. He said he is in the middle. Andrew gave 100% but thinks he was probably better in rehearsal [I don't know why they don't tell you that the judges can watch their dress rehearsal if they want & even if they are in their trailers they can watch it on TV]. He said Andrew has gotten so much criticism so has had to move away from what he wants to do. He hopes he stays.
Katie - Wild Horses
I thought this was a decent vocal from her. Her performance didn't grab me & the way she would follow the camera didn't score any points w/ me. But overall it was good. Randy said she sang it really well but there was a couple pitchy spots. Ellen said she started pitchy but once she was into it it was amazing. Kara said she is never technically perfect [who there is?] but was better than last week. Simon said this is the only week she's chosen a strong song. He knows it well cuz he recorded it w/ Susan Boyle. He didn't like the 2nd ½ of the arrangement but she connected & gave 100%.
Tim - Under my Thumb
He played guitar but I thought a ukulele would be better suited for this awful mess. I didn't like the version & didn't like his vocal. & I really didn't like the closeup of his long fingernails. I know some guys do that to pluck the strings but ew. Randy didn't get that & thought it was bizarre. Ellen felt like she was at a resort. She thought he sounded great but didn't wow. Kara applauded him for making it different & his own. Simon did too but thought it was quite a boring song anyway. He didn't think it worked & it was a crazy decision.
Siobhan - Paint it Black
This is one of the few Stones songs I like. But I absolutely hated her version of it. Sorry but I am not a Broadway fan. & I was reminded of Adam Lambert & I can't stand anything he does so there you go. She did another screech at the end & it made me flinch. Honey, that one note was good early on. You don't have to scream every fricking week. I know everyone raves about this chick. I have yet to be impressed. Randy said she is bringing the drama & thought that was hot. Ellen said she rises above like Snookie's pouf. Kara had flashbacks of Adam Lambert & thought that was the best interpretation tonight. Simon said she is the stand out of the night. He now sees her development but she is screaming at the end of every song. He thinks a lot of people will love that & a lot will hate it [raises hand] but that is better than being indifferent & boring.
Lee - Beast of Burden
He had his guitar again. It's the same for me every week. When he nails the vocal I really like his voice. But he has a lot of weak moments as well so it's never great. But he still gets an arrow up from me cuz I like it more than not. Randy said he's an amazing singer & he brought it home. He thought it was dope & one of his best. Ellen said it was great but expected him to do more. Kara said he is growing faster than anyone. Simon really likes him as a person but what's held him back is her personality. He doesn't shine. He chose a safe song. He has an incredibly good voice & wants him to have a moment. He needs to stop thinking people are better than him.
Paige - Honky Tonk Woman
I had read the Tweets that she had Laryngitis & thought it was just laying the groundwork for excuses after she sucked so hard. But I have to tell ya, that was pretty fricking good. Yeah it's a lame song but that's not her fault. I thought her vocal was pretty good & one of the best of the night. Randy thought it would be a mess but she did aiight. Ellen said she has great star quality & knows she's been struggling w/ her voice. Kara said she hit song strong notes but got a little lost. She said Paige is back. Simon didn't know she was having trouble w/ her voice & said she did great. He thought the song was a bit generic & she's better than that. He thinks she still hasn't connected.
Aaron - Angie
Blech. This just wasn't for me. But this is a song I always make fun of so that may have colored my opinion some. But I don't think so. I didn't like his boyband high-pitched voice where he sounded like he needed to go through puberty. I thought this was awful. Randy said he was born to sing & he loved the tender moments & thought it was hot. Ellen said it was such a great choice & thought he & Siobhan were the standouts of the night so far. Kara said she beat him up last week & he showed her & connected to the song. Kara is such a fucking idiot. Connect this honey. Simon said he feared for him but he 100% chose the right song. He sang the song w/in the limits of his vocal. He doesn't have a big voice but it was mostly in tune.
Crystal - You Can't Always Get What You Want
Shocker. She gets the pimp spot & another completely safe song for her that sounded the same as everything else she has done. No risks. Nothing interesting. Oh & she played guitar again. I'm just not into this chick at all. I guess compared to the competition she's a standout but she's nothing special or unique. I find her pretty bland actually. & she was working the vibrato thing that made me want to knock a few more of her teeth out. Randy said it wasn't her best. There were a couple problems but he loves her & she didn't disappoint. That was confusing cuz if it wasn't her best & had problems, how does it not disappoint in some way? Ellen said she sings w/ such ease & was born to be on stage & added personality. Kara said she is so confident up there & seems like she thinks she's got this. Simon said she came out as the 100% clear favorite but chose a song that didn't have what she needed. He said Siobhan beat her tonight [wonder why Lee thinks people are better than him?] & she needs to move on rather than think she has it in her pocket. Crystal said she doesn't but thanked him for saying she does. I LoLd at this & was the only thing about her time on stage I liked. I really think this girl really could give a shit about this show & really won't be happy "under their thumb". So I love that she seems to be rolling her eyes at their cheesy shit.
Who should go?
Aaron, Andrew & Tim were the worst of the night for me. Aaron was hands down the worst for me. But I could see the younguns getting enough votes to slide them past Andrew. He has been stinking it up week after week. Casey, Paige & Lee were the best of the night for me. I guess I would give Paige the crown though for taking such a beating & the degree of difficulty w/ that & being sick. But she has a lot of haters. As does Katie. You just never know where the votes will go for sure.
Ke$sha, Orianthi & David Cook are performing on the results show. I am so happy for my DVR.
So what did you think of tonight's show? Who shined & who crashed & burned? Post your thoughts below.
