I could just die from excitement! Time has passed and I was beginning to wonder if Elliott would ever put a cd out..... However, never fear, the snippet of his first single trumps every song I've heard from Katharine McPhee's cd! You MUST have a listen to "Movin' On," due out February 13th!

With the grooves of an up-tempo John Legend track, and vocals more keen to Anthony Hamilton and of course Donny Hathaway, Elliott's new single shows of exactly what made everyone fall in love with him...his voice.
"Movin' On" has the attitude and flare of his "I Believe it to My Soul" performance, with a bit of the funk from "I Don't Wanna Be" thrown in for good measure. It isn't over produced, and from the short snippet alone you can hear his masterfully done runs and the depth of his raspy, soulful tone. That's enough for me to buy a dozen copies of the cds. Rumor has it, the single will be released mid- February, with an album following in March.
Yaminions, spread the word! We gotta keep our man on top and get his single heard! You can go to rickey.org as always to hear the single! You won't be dissapointed, and while you're there take a nice looksy at his hot new pictures!
