Who stunk up the floor this week?

Ashleigh & Jacob were saddled w/ a Tabitha & Napoleon Hip Hop routine.  I just don't like anything they choreograph.  It's the same thing over & over & I keep waiting for Rerun to run out to dance w/ them.  & I so want to smack her stupid cockeyed hats off her head.  Their dancing didn't do anything for me as well.  I don't know if it was just the bad choreo though.  The judges started w/ Nigel this week & I am assuming it's cuz Adam is hogging all the time so Nigel is going 1^st so he can be the hog.  He thought T&N had a great gimmick w/ the texting.  He thinks Jacob is challenged by the choreographers every week & comes up to scratch.  Never heard that expression before but he means he does it well.  Nigel thinks Jacob will grow to the Top 10.  He knew Ashleigh had the ability to grow & thought she would ride Jacob's coattails to the Top 10 but she has grown at a much faster pace than they thought she would.  Mary said Ashleigh is a star & she is constantly drawn to her.  Jacob is great.  Adam said Jacob is a sure bet to the Top 10.  He didn't believe Ashleigh could do it but now she is a contender for the Top 10.

Karen & Kevin got a boring Broadway routine.  It was just so blah & something was missing.  & she has horrible lines.  Not to mention horrible skin.  Maybe everyone who thinks she is so hot isn't watching in high-def but I say EWWW.  I just don't get the love for this girl.  This was a horrible dance from start to finish.  Nigel said for the 1^st time Karen was asked to dance w/o being sexual & that may be why he didn't enjoy it as much as usual.  She didn't bring humor to it but thinks she brought more than Kevin did.  He didn't think they had chemistry & was disappointed.  Mary agreed.  She thought it was nice & safe.  She thought Karen fared better & Kevin was awkward.  Adam agreed that Karen fared better & actually liked her not having to pull out the tigress this week.

Noelle & Russell got the Fox Trot for the 2^nd time but this will be Noelle's 1^st time doing it cuz she had hurt her knee & had to sit out the last time.  I thought it was OK but it just felt phony.  I didn't dig it.  Nigel said the choreographer brought something out of Russell or he is just vastly improved.  He thinks there's no question Russell is a star.  He grows every week.  He thinks Noelle isn't content in his shadow.  Mary said Russell was so far outside of his style & made it look effortless.  His top line is improved.  Noelle was elegant & her footwork was correct.  She was gorgeous in her movement.  Adam said it had joy, confidence & was fantastic.

Channing & Victor got a Jazz routine from Tyce.  I thought the choreo was brilliant & the dancing was pretty good.  But Bobby McFerrin's version of ‘Blackbird' sucked so fricking hard that it distracted you from the dancing.  It should never be heard again.  What a POS that was.  So it makes the dancing even better that you could still like it even w/ it being supported by that music, or lack thereof.  Victor has 5 stitches above his eye cuz when they were rehearsing she headbutted him.  He asked for 6 since it is the 6^th season but they wouldn't do it.  Nigel said for the 1^st week Channing looked like she enjoyed the performance.  He sometimes feels like she has no confidence.  Victor has grown beyond belief as a man but some guys may overtake him so he's got to push himself.  Mary said they brought this to life.  Victor is so consistent while Channing is great & strong.  Adam said Channing is finding her way into the show.  Her lines are beautiful but the song kept him out of feeling for the dancers.  He always thought Victor was great but he's got to let himself go.

Kathryn & Legacy got a Paso Doble & they did an awesome job.  You really felt the passion & the characters.  I thought it was really well done.  Nigel said he told Kathryn last week that she danced too juvenile & she changed that this week.  Her maturity is fantastic & it was magnificent.  He said Legacy is always practicing & thinks that passion will push him to the Top 10.  Mary said Kathryn played that just right.  She thought Legacy's character was just right.  He's growing & has delivered so much further than she anticipated.  Adam said Kathryn killed it.  Legacy had a lack of stamina in Vegas & ½ the judges didn't think he should move in.  He is now spectacular & thinks he will make it to the Top 10 cuz he is crushing it.  He's no longer a breakdancer & is a dancer.

Ellenore & Ryan lucked out & got a Contemporary piece from Travis.  It's ridiculous on how happy I get when I see Travis. He is an amazing dancer & his choreo is just as great.  It's bad though that when I watch it I envision how Travis would do it.  But Ryan did it justice.  He & Ellenore both did.  It was the best dance of the night.  Nigel said they have cemented their place next week & it's his favorite routine of the night.  He said the choreographers say Ellenore is one of the sharpest tools in the box.  She becomes a different person in every routine.  Ryan has shown he is the best Ballroom dancer to ever do Contemporary on the show.  Mary said Ellenore is a perfect blend.  She's gorgeous & has star quality moments.  She can develop any character they bring her.  Ryan's timing is perfection tonight  & he has broken so many barriers for Ballroom barriers.  Mary choked up over that.  Adam said SYTYCD has kicked in now.  He hasn't had a moment that caught his breath this season til now.  Ellenore is ridiculous & thinks Ryan will end up in the Top 10 w/ his wife.

Mollee & Nathan got a Pop Jazz routine from Laurieann.  Why does she wear those stupid hot pink headphones around her neck?  Does she really think she is starting a fashion trend?  It's just stupid.  I thought it was a decent routine but enjoyed watching Mollee more than him.  Nigel said Mollee is one of the most committed dancers.  He thinks her talent will make her a great professional.  People thought he was tough on Nathan last week but he is one of the most talented they have ever had so he will stay on his back cuz he's gotta grow & needs to mature to reach his potential.  Mary said it is so good to have the Dream Team back.  Mollee was perfection & hit all the quirky moves.  The dance didn't give her chills though.  Adam wanted to help them w/ their strategy & said he was surprised to hear Nathan say in the video package that he got everything he wanted as a kid.  He thought their sync was beautiful.  They are  capapble of a lot & is glad they are back in the game.

All 3 judges thought Karen & Kevin were in trouble.  Adam said something was out of reach for them.  Kevin & Karen were definitely the worst of the night & I do think they may end in the bottom but I don't think the judges will let their alleged sexy Karen go just yet.  I do think Kevin is a goner for sure though cuz I think they want to pair Karen up w/ someone else in hopes that she can advance farther.  Ashleigh & Jacob and Noelle & Russell were the other 2 couples that I thought deserve to be in the bottom.  I think they would cut Noelle over Ashleigh & Karen.  Karen is their pet & they like to use the married couple.  I of course want Karen's fugly mug off my screen & her dancing isn't good either.
