Martin is coming to visit Svetlana for her 20th Bday. Janelle & her have bonded so Janelle asks Fitz what she wants for a cake. Fitz is nervous about his visit cuz she says he is shy & doesn’t know much about politics & so on. John made me laugh cuz he said if Martin can deal w/ her he can deal w/ them. Tyler said does this mean Martin is pudgy AND stupid?
John tells Tyler to act overly flamboyant when Martin comes to see his reaction. I thought this was hysterical. Tyler even tossed around the idea of wearing an evening gown.
Paula wants communication w/ her parents & to tell them about Keith so she emails her Mom. Paula got an email from her Mom the next day & Mom was being supportive & stupid by saying she trusts Paula to make the right decisions. She calls Keith & talk about it & he says he loves her mom.
Paula goes to her last session w/ her psychiatrist. She says all the right things. She claims that she doesn’t pick at her scabs anymore [even though I saw a ton of them on her arms before she went to the doctor in long sleeves] cuz she doesn’t need to pick on herself anymore. She doesn’t have to be perfect. He asked if she missed her blackouts. & duh. Of course she doesn’t. She said it is nice to eat now & not hate it. She gave him a shot glass that said “Paula’s Bar” on it to think of her cuz she hasn’t done any shots since he told her to stop. She feels more confident w/ herself.
She goes out to eat with John & Tyler & tells them that she has stopped picking on herself. She said they showed her how bad it got & they saved her from the worst. John said there is no going back & it is only going up. Paula said she changed her life. Some go there & get lost while she was found. I think this is all very sad knowing what we know now that just a few months later she & Keith were living together & got into a drunken fight where she tried to physically stop him from getting into their apartment so she bit him multiple times. So what does this mean? Is Keith the bad influence on her? Is it her own choice in friends? What? She got better when away from everyone & then goes right back down that path when left to make her own decisions.
Svetlana picks up Martin & brings him to the house. Tyler was a dud & all he did was have a limp wrist when he shook his hand. That could have been so funny but they had no follow through. Tyler tells us he isn’t the one that has to have sex w/ Martin like he is a horrible guy. Tyler right away tells them about the joke. That was so lame.
Fitz & Martin go out to dinner. He tries to pay the bill & she flips out. She wants to pay the tip & he won’t let her. They argue. She tells us she is always dramatic. Tyler asks Martin how he puts up with Fitz & he said he just ignores her. Tyler laughed. He tells us he would be friends w/ Martin. He says he is a patient man to put up w/ Svetlana.
Svetlana goes out to eat with Martin, his sister & her boyfriend. She tells them this has made her learn how to deal w/ people & look at her own actions. She thought this would make her & Martin grow apart but it has made them stronger.
Janelle & John are home making a cake for Fitz. They play a prank by making a bad one to show her first. Fitz gets home & was bummed about the cake but wanted to stay happy for her Bday. They ask her to go outside to get some candles for it & when she gets there she sees the real cake. I thought it was sweet.
Next week is the 1-hour finale. They go to Fantasy Fest & then go home.
