Does she blame Nate for her ouster?

Rene said she thought Stephannie showed a lot of class when she left.  Did she really want mashed potatoes that bad?  Stephannie said no.  They all talked about food so that one particular statement was really blown out of proportion.  Rene asked what was the deal, she thought she & Nate were close.  Stephannie thought so too cuz they were from Hiki together.   She doesn't blame Nate, she takes full responsibility for her actions.  She had planted the seed the week before. 

Rene said she had said she was the weak link, does she think they never got over that?  Stephannie said she thought they had.  She planted that seed, she internalized that defeat & thought it was her fault & she voiced that in a moment of weakness.  She thought she got everyone back into the fold.  When she made that comment to Nate he spread it in the tribe & that reopened the wound.  Rene said she was surprised by that & thinks he blamed her for voting out Sekou.  Stephannie said it could have been some kind of retaliatory act.

Rene said everyone said Cristina had to go cuz she was on everyone's nerves.  Stephannie said she was surprised it was her & everyone voted against her.  She said they were very close & Cristina knew she was leaving & she is glad she didn't tell Cristina she was going cuz she would have looked like an idiot.

Rene said Stephannie had told her this was a lot harder & this was the 3^rd time she had tried out for the show.  Stephannie loves the show & always been a fan.  3^rd time was the charm for her.  She wanted to go further in the game & the mashed potatoes comment did her in.

The secret scene was Stephannie leading her tribe in a prayer before eating & she thought that had them think she brought hope & encouragement to the tribe.

Rene asked if she regretted anything & Stephannie said she regrets saying she was the weakest link.  At that point it was just no way getting over that damage & she is collateral damage & sitting there today.
