Most of the guys did the tango & most of the girls did the jive.  Except Joey & Vivica switched.  & then there's Mario.  Once a cheat, always a cheat.

Emmitt has been traveling a lot.  I though it was sweet that he went to watch his wife host the Miss Virginia Pageant.  Len was very disappointed cuz they did lifts & the rules say no lifts.  He gave a 6.  Bruno said the rock is starting to crumble & thought he lacked charisma.  He gave a 6.  Carrie Ann said it was not his best but isn't as bad as the others say.  She gave a 7 = 19.

Monique's Mom came to watch & this is the first time she has seen her perform in 4 years.  I found that so unbelievable.  I can't imagine a Mom not supporting her child more but maybe there is more to it.  Len thought it was their best dance & gave a 9.  Bruno said they raised the bar & also gave a 9.  Carrie Ann loved it & thinks everyone needs to take note of them.  She gave a 9 as well so their total is 27.

At the end of Harry & Ashly's tango he went to give the rose to Carrie Ann & then PSYCH!  He gave it to Bruno saying he is tougher on him.  Bruno thought the performance was so good but the foot work was a mess at times.  He gave a 7.  Carrie Ann joked that she would have given a 10 had she gotten the rose.  She appreciates his hard work but he is still awkward.  She gave a 7.  Len said it was great & a proper tango.  He gave an 8 = 22.

Willa doesn't know how much longer she can stay on the show w/o America voting for her.  Carrie Ann said she is the best natural dancer & is 90% spot on but they did lifts & there are NO LIFTS.  She gave a 7.  Len thinks they are doing too much bonding & not enough dancing.  He gave a 7.  Bruno thought she was delicious & gave an 8 = 22.

Jerry's daughter is getting married soon & he just wants to make it till he can learn to waltz so he can dance w/ her at the wedding.  Bruno said he was more Pink Panther than James Bond.  He gave a 7.  Carrie Ann thinks it is smart that they go for the performance over the technique & also gave a 7.  Len said it was a very unusual interpretation of a tango but had so much fun.  He also gave a 7 = 21.

Sara wants to give more personality so her jive will have a country flair.  Carrie Ann loved it & gave an 8.  Len liked the whole approach & compared her to a rough diamond.  He gave a 9.  Bruno said she is new & improved & gave an 8 = 25.

After last week, Mario wants to insure they do a proper tango.  But then they decide to do what they want anyway.  There was something hanging from the bottom of his pant leg at the end of the dance too.  Apparently Karina was injured before the show but the show must go on.  Len asked whose idea was it to break the hold cuz he would have given a 10 until they did that so he gave a 6.  Bruno said they are the real deal but Mario is a naughty boy that makes them mark him down.  He gave an 8.  Carrie Ann said they are fantastic but have to respect the rules & gave an 8 = 22.

Vivica did take a ballet class like Carrie Ann requested.  She was the only girl to do the tango.  Bruno said she was the drama queen of the night & gave a 9.  Carrie Ann called her a diva & gave her a hug & said that was her dance.  She also gave a 9.  Len said "A" stands for animal, attack, atmosphere & he is very happy.  He also gave a 9 so their total is 27.

Joey did the jive in his blue suede shoes.  I thought this song was horrible.  The band was playing to a pre-recorded track or something & they didn't synch it up or something so the vocals echoed each other & threw off the entire song.  Then the music didn't end when it was supposed to.  I could see that throwing off a dancer when the counts aren't where they are supposed to be.  Bruno said he puts so much energy into his dance but again, lifts are not allowed.  He gave an 8.  Carrie Ann thought it was fabulous & gave an 8.  Len said it isn't Cirque de Soleil & thought it was terrible.  He gave a 6 = 22.
