They had 6 weeks to prepare, more time than any other season.  This week the girls do the Foxtrot & the guys got the Cha Cha Cha.  Joey & Edyta were first.  Joey married his High School Sweetheart.  I don't like his bald head.  My husband is bald but it just doesn't look good on Joey.  But I couldn't stop looking at his Incredible Hulk arms.  They were pretty good & the judges all loved them.  They all gave a 7 so their score was 21.

The judges were so-so about Sara & Tony.  They scored all 5s so got 15.

Tucker & Elena were next & he sucks hard.  He sits in a chair most of the time.  Carrie Ann said he looked like he had the most fun but didn't dance for ½ so she can't give a good score.  Len said his problem started when he stood up.  Bruna said it was an awful mess & dreadful.  Carrie gave a 5, Len a 4 & Bruno a 3 = 12.

Bruno thought Monique was a dream girl in the making & has great potential.  Carrie loved her shapes but she overdanced w/ her face.  I totally got that cuz I had said her faces looked porn star-ish.  Len said she had gorgeous arms but the chemistry isn't there.  Carrie & Len gave a 6 & Bruno a 7 = 19.

I love Emmitt!  He seems like such a good guy & his smile lights up a room.  You just want to hug him.  Cheryl was so funny training him too.  She wanted him to pay her every time he did a "heelie".  [Ed. Note:  I got an email from Lori W. telling me "In your DWTs review you refer to Cheryl Burke charging Emmitt Smith .25 for every "heelie".  HEEL LEAD.  Leading or stepping heel first instead of ball of foot first (which is a toe lead).  The cha cha requires toe leads, not heel leads."  Thanks.  I don't know anything about dancing & had no idea what she said.]
He said no so she said .25.  He was good too.  Way better than Jerry Rice.  Carrie called him over & shook his hand & said he can dance.  Len said he is a natural dancer & a joy.  Bruno said he is the king of effortless cool.  The got all 8s = 24.

Bruno said Will is an exquisite treat.  Carrie said she is graceful & flawless.  Len loved it.  Carrie & Len gave a 7 & Bruno an 8 = 22.

Mario is all A.D.D. so it makes it hard to train him.  But they did really well.  Len said he is right up there w/ the best tonight.  Bruno said he is the hottest latino & then said some weird thing about a battery being in his pants.  Carrie said they are the couple to beat.  Carrie & Bruno gave 9s & Len an 8 = 26.

Bruno said Shanna is an ice queen.  Carrie said she has great posture.  Len expected more & didn't like the footwork.  Carrie - 7, Len - 5, Bruno - 6 = 18.

Carrie Ann had high hopes for Harry since he was there all last season watching Lisa but he was stiff & awkward.  Len said mechanical.  Bruno said he needs to relax.  Harry said that is why he is there.  Carrie gave a 5 & the guys gave a 6 = 17.

Bruno said Viveca was "Viva la Diva" & knows how to sell a performance.  Len said she sold it.  Carrie said she is feisty but her technique was a little lacking.  Carrie gave a 6 & the guys gave 8s = 22.

Len was worried about Jerry cuz he is older but he held his own & it was a great job.  Carrie loves that he went for it but he messed up the choreography.  Bruno said he went to the George Hamilton School of Dance.  Carrie & Len gave 5s & Bruno a 6 = 6.

So the order from best to worst is:

Emmitt & Cheryl - 24

Viveca & Nick - 22

9/13:  The judges gave Emmitt & Cheryl the Encore.  Tom Jones performed twice but I fast forwarded through it.  I actually FF through most of the show & got done in just 20 minutes.  Best way to watch results shows.

Sara said she was surprised her score was so low.  Tucker said he will redeem himself.  Mario is happy to be in first place but didn't enjoy it cuz it was so surreal.

Harry, Emmitt, Jerry & Viveca were all safe.  There is some Viewer Challenge thing this year for a Slim Fast commercial.  A woman is being trained all season to do the different dances.  This week she did the Mambo.

Jerry said he doesn't think he will go farther on the show & is surprised to still be there & said they must not be judging his dancing or just happy to see him alive.  Harry said he has to loosen up but is happy the next dance is the Quick Step so he can be stiff form the waist up.  Emmitt surprised himself that he worked so hard but gave all the credit to Cheryl for being a great partner.  Viveca said she is her biggest competitor cuz she is so driven but if she had to pick another one it would be Emmitt.

Len thought Shanna was the worst.  Bruno said it was Tucker.  Carrie Ann said it was Sara cuz she was lacking & not engaging.  Carrie was wrong.  Sara & Tony were not in the Bottom 3 & Willa & Maksim were.

Shanna & Jesse were told they were safe & then Tucker & Elena were out.  He said Kenny Maine got him to do the show.  His support will go to Jerry cuz he is another talk show host.  He said Elena is the most patient woman & will miss her accent the most.
