Everything that could go wrong did for a couple teams.

The teams have to take a bus & then a ferry to get to Italy & leave in this order:

Ronald & Christina - 2:19am

Kynt & Vyxsin - 2:55am

Nathan & Jennifer - 3:45am

TK & Rachel - 5:37am

Nicolas & Donald - 7:06am

The bus didn't leave till 5 so Ronald & Christina's lead was lost & then totally demolished when all the teams were equalized waiting for the ferry to leave.  I always think that sucks so hard.  I know they want there to be tension in the Race but I just don't think it is fair.  Once there they had to drive to an airfield & were given a Blackberry they would receive a message on & couldn't use it for anything else.  Everyone who asked for directions were given a different way.  Rachel actually left their clue at the club they stopped to get directions at & they had to go back & get it.  On the drive everyone got messages of encouragement from home.  Nate, Vyxsin & Nicolas' parents, TK's Mom & Christina's sister.  Some of the teams encounter a traffic accident & the highway is closed until 6am.  Nicolas & Donald decide to wait it out while the others drive around it.

Nathan & Jennifer get there first but it doesn't open until 7am.  TK & Rachel get there next & they are the only teams there when it opens.  They have their choice of a Roadblock or the only Fast Forward on the Race.  If they choose the Roadblock one of them has to fly in this tiny contraption & search the ground for the clue telling them their next destination.  They have a 30-minute time limit so they can refuel.  Jennifer whines at Nathan that she wants to do the Fast Forward but he vetoes it & he goes up in the plane thing as does TK.  Ronald & Christina arrive & they can't find the numbers & Ronald takes his frustration out on Christina & bitches at her.  Rachel says this is the first time she has heard him talk to Christina like that & she has no respect for him.

Nicolas & Donald decide to go for the Fast Forward.  This gets Jennifer whining again saying this could have been the leg she & Nate won.  At this point I hope they never win a leg.  Editing is probably showing this cuz they don't until the end right?

Vyxsin is lost & cries.  Nathan finds the clue & they are of to Leonardo DaVinci's birthplace.  TK has to land for fuel & go up for a 2^nd try.  Nicolas & Donald get to the Fast Forward & learn they have to each get a F F tattoo that obviously stands for Fast Forward.  Donald hems & haws at this before finally relenting.  The tattoo goes on their arms & is so tiny.  If they were that worried about it they could have gotten it somewhere people couldn't see it.  I don't know if they are given that option though.  I have tattoos so it wouldn't have been a problem for me & I see it as a momento of their trip & think it's cool.  They get to go to the Pit Stop now.

Christina finds the clue.  Nathan & Jennifer get to the Detour.  For Invention they have to build a crane & lift a large stone & use a mirror to read the clue underneath.  For Tradition they have to learn & do a flag routine.  They decide to do the flags.

TK has to land a 2^nd time & still hasn't found it.  Kynt & Vyxsin arrive.  Nicolas & Donald get to Phil & win a spa trip to Cancun.  Vyxsin finds the clue & TK has to refuel again.  Nathan struggles w/ the flag routine but they do pass.  She felt good that he listened to her.  TK finally sees the clue.  Nathan & Jennifer get to Phil 2^nd.

Ronald & Christina fail the flag task & try again & pass on the 2^nd try.  Ronald starts driving the car before Christina is even in it.  Kynt & Vyxsin decide to do the crane but when they get there they decide to switch to the flags.  Vyxsin is lost again & loses it & cries.  Kynt yells at her & tells her to stop the car so he can drive.  She tells him go ahead & the douche can't drive stick so they switch back.  Now the car won't go into gear & is broke.  But they are at the Detour anyway so they go to do the flags & know their replacement car will be waiting when they get back.

Ronald & Christina get to the mat 3^rd.  TK & Rachel do the crane & finish.  They see that they are now ahead of Kynt & Vyxsin & get excited but not for long.  They get a flat tire.  Kynt & Vyxsin pass the flag routine.  But TK & Rachel get to Phil for 4^th place.

Kynt & Vyxsin were last but they luck out & this is the 1^st of 2 non-Philimination rounds.  I always think that sucks to have it on a Fast Forward leg cuz now you basically did that for nothing since your lead will be equalized as soon as the next leg starts at an airport or whatever.  But Kynt & Vyxsin will be punished w/ a new twist called ‘The Speed Bump".  Sometime on the next leg there will be a task only they have to complete.

Next week Kynt & Vyxsin want to make TK & Rachel take a wrong flight.  Ron yells at Christina some more.
