Tyson Beckford visits, the girls tape PSA's and a “green” photo shoot happens.

Ebony felt she did poorly each week and was tired of bad comments. Ambreal wanted to do better, called her dad and asked him to pray for her. Bianca told Heather not to give the photographers any more profile shots since they were talking and Heather admitted to not knowing what to do any more. Super male model Tyson Beckford showed up to teach them about being spokespersons. He instructed the girls to each get a kitchen item and to sell it in a sexy way. Some of them did very well, while others spoke pitifully (Ebony).

The model wannabees created public service announcements for the charity Keep a Child Alive in groups of three. Team 1 was Lisa, Chantal and Bianca; Team 2 was Ambreal, Heather and Jenah; Team 3 was Sarah, Ebony and Saleisha. They had 30 minutes to put together a 30 second PSA which would be judged by Elizabeth Santiso from the organization. All three groups were very creative and worked with the theme “I am African”. Team 2 won the challenge. Ambreal and Jenah won $500 beauty baskets from Carol's Daughter and Heather won the GRAND prize to be part of a photo shoot directed by Mary J. Blige. The names were supposedly chosen from a hat who won the baskets or the modeling job. Heather did great facing the camera straight on the whole time. Go Heather!

The girls retreated back to Tyra's enclave and decided to just chill. They had a pseudo sleepover in the closet (it was HUGE) and enjoyed some pizza. Heather showed up at 1 a.m. and she was not in their faces about the experience. Ebony was featured again wanting to go home. Hmmm ... some foreshadowing here???

Next stop was Quixote [studio] for the recyclable product editorial ads with world renowned photographer Frederic Reshew. Heather was aluminum cans, Chantal shredded paper, Sarah garbage bags, Saleisha tires, Ebony bubble wrap, Jenah cardboard, Bianca oil, Lisa plastic bottles and Ambreal newspaper. Some of them proved very interesting and the others just flopped. The girls were judged by Tyra, Nigel Barker, Miss J. Alexander, Twiggy and Tyson Beckford. Saleisha was great, beautiful and confident they said. They loved Jenah's attitude, her body and pose. They commented on Ambreal having sleepy or dead eyes. Lisa's body language was “too girlish” (whatever that means) with a modeling 101 look. Bianca's picture would've been perfect except her arm was too stiff, but her face was stunning. Sarah was deemed as having good fashion, good energy and they noticed she lost weight since the beginning of the process. She didn't agree with them, but smiled any way. Ebony's lip snarled and the photo was uninspiring. Chantal's comments were mixed where one judge thought too much hair covered her face while another thought she looked great. Heather was told she had a wonderful, strong face, and was complimented with the words brilliant and confident.

Based on the negative and positive comments by the judges, here's my “basic” grouping of who succeeded and who failed. SUCCEEDED: Saleisha, Jenah, Bianca, Sarah, Chantal and Heather. FAILED: Ambreal, Lisa and Ebony. Tyra gave photos to Saleisha, Jenah, Heather, Bianca, Sarah, Chantal and Lisa. Ebony was about to get the last photo, but saved Ambreal from going home because she said modeling wasn't for her. Ebony gave her spot to someone who really wanted to be there. Tyra was fuming inside and told Ebony she just didn't like being criticized or being told what to do. Ebony was thrown into the recycle bin because her photo was among the weakest and courageously left. Tyra said she didn't care for quitters and released her. Ebony told the camera she was sorry for wasting Tyra's time and wrote an apology letter for the house. Tyra's last “dig” was showing Ebony's audition video where she begged to be chosen and they would not regret it.
