MediaFiends: LAWON! You are getting the Marcellas award! NEVER put yourself on the block! Better to be safe than sorry! Why did you do it?
LAWON: Because I overanalyzed it and thought the "chance" meant I would come back into the game with powers and I just went on my emotions and trusted my ally that was HOH, I was just assured I would be a pawn and I was not. I should have followed my gut and kept my mouth shut. I don't know if I should thank you for this award or not, but unless you live in the house, you never know the emotions that occur when you are in there.
MediaFiends: Why did you act like you didn't know you were going on the block when you had volunteered?
LAWON: Because the initial plan was to act like I was surprised, not act surprised for too long, not let other realize that I had asked to be a pawn. I think that is what messed up the plan. I did have a gut feeling, questioning why Kalia actually put me up on the block.
MediaFiends: Are you upset that you didn't get any votes?
LAWON: Disappointed, but not upset. I thought I would at least get two. But its just a game.
MediaFiends: Do you feel betrayed by anyone?
LAWON: I feel like I was betrayed by Kalia because I think we should have talked about the plan just a little bit more. She should have asked me if I really wanted to be a pawn. I think we both went into the plan not sure how we would play it out. I think everything got out of context, initially I was supposed to go up as a pawn because we were sure everyone wanted to evict Rachel.
MediaFiends: Just what was your strategy?
LAWON: My plan going into Big Brother was to lay low, and get to know all of the Houseguests and see where their head was at as far as strategizing in the game, and as the competitions played out, knock out those that were a big threat to me. My strategy was always to not let people know where I was in the game, except for the people that I aligned with. From day one, I was in the game with Dominic. So me and him were always talking game. I always felt I was in the game from day one.
MediaFiends: Why are the Newbies so afraid to go against the Vets?
LAWON: Because all of the newbies got some kind of deal going on with the veterans so how can they come together as one when each of the newbies has some kind of deal going on with the veterans. One thing I can say about myself, which is true, I never had any deals with any of the veterans.
MediaFiends: So what's the deal on your Regulators? All 4 of you are out now. Where did you guys go wrong?
LAWON: That's a good one! I think we were too obvious from the beginning. I think we could have gone far if we had all trusted each other. Dominic and I had each other's backs from day one, and same with Cassi. But the incidence with Keith threw the regulators out of regulation. We stepped out too early. If we had someone with us like Daniele in the beginning, we would have gone far in the game together.
MediaFiends: Were you trying to win competitions or did you throw them?
LAWON: Some of them I threw, based on the way that me and my partner wanted to play the game together as duos. When it came down to singles, that's when I started to really play. I think if I had started playing more early on, I would have been seen as more of a competitor in the game.
MediaFiends: If you had stayed & won HoH, who was your target?
LAWON: Rachel and Shelly.
MediaFiends: If you could do it over again, what would you do differently?
LAWON: I would have won competitions earlier in the game. And I also would have tried to team up with Daniele earlier in the game.
