Due to the hurricanes Fantasy Fest was postponed & it was finally here when it was also their last week in the house.  Janelle took Rickey aside to tell him that he has inspired her.  She wanted to be a makeup artist but quit to go to law school & now she thinks she will go back to makeup cuz that is her passion.  Rickey was touched.

John & Tyler work on the float.  Well John does.  Tyler helps for a little bit before ditching him.  So John got Rickey to help him. 

Tyler has Janelle do his makeup to go party that night.  All the clubs do different theme parties for Fantasy Fest.  They all went to a toga party.  John got up on stage for a contest & by crowd applause [& showing his naked ass] he won $250.  I noticed that Zach did not dress up.  Jose wanted everyone to go meet Tyler at his club cuz he was also entering a contest.  Everyone was having fun & didn’t want to go.  So Jose was the only one to show up as Tyler dressed like a girl & his only dance move was Rockette’s high kicks.  His big afro wig kept falling off & at one beautiful moment he fell off the stage.  He ended with the splits.  Tyler got 2nd place.

Tyler was upset that the roommates didn’t come.  So let’s see.  You don’t allow them to come watch you run but now they all have to come watch your cheesy dance so you can win money for their applause?  Don’t think so honey.  You can’t have it both ways.  Tyler whines that he gave them 2 days notice.  First he whines about it to Paula & she says she is sorry.  Then he whines about it to Zach.  Tyler was putting all the blame on John but Zach said John did not get them to do anything.  They were just having a good time & didn’t want to go.

John tests out the float he is building so you see that it is like a disco inside the tanning booth.  It was pretty cool.  The rest of the roommates get ready to go to another theme night, this one is 80’s.  John wasn’t included in their plans & he was a little pissed at this.  They entered a contest & called themselves “The 80’s House” & won $1,000. 

John works on the float by himself as usual.  Rickey is helping.  He calls Janelle & tells her they need their help.  Janelle could give a shit.  She cares more about looking good on the float then the float being ready so decides to ignore her boss & do what she wants to do cuz the world does revolve around her after all.  So then Rickey calls Zach & Jose who are at the salon.  They say they will meet them at 6, the same time everyone was meeting there & the time that the parade will start moving.  Luckily one of John’s friends came to help him & he was able to get the float done.

Jose & Zach do arrive at 6.  The others are there at 7.  They don’t need to worry their ugly little heads about doing the work, they just want to show up for the party.  So they didn’t have to do any of the preparation but got to reap the rewards.  But good for John for getting it handled even if his roommates are a bunch of assholes.

Everyone begins to pack for home.  They meet Rickey for their last day of work.  He asks Svetlana how much money there is & she said $1,114.  He said he called to get more & now they each get a check for $5,000.

They all go out to dinner for their last night together.  Tyler said he will always think of John unloading the dishwasher.  John said he thought people would follow his example but they never did.  They all say they consider themselves a family & that they can talk about each other but no one else better. 

Paula called Keith.  They are going to try living together.  & I am sure you heard how that turned out.  LoL.  She said they are going to get couple’s counseling.  I am sure we will find out next week on the reunion how that went.

They all sleep together on the couches.  Paula can’t sleep.  She gets up & begins packing & finds this poem she wrote when she first came into this.  She types it up & prints it out & then cuts up her blanket to make the first initial of everyone’s names & glues it on.  She leaves the note near each of them as they sleep.  This really got me crying.  She called them “My Strangers”.  It just breaks my heart to see how well she did while in that house & then to know that it all came apart again.  This girl needs help & is crying out for it.

Tyler thinks he is leaving w/ 6 friends.  Zach’s cab is the first to arrive.  Paula said she will miss the way he thinks everything is perfect.  John loves the respect Zach has for people & his genuine love for them.  Zach said he has 0 regrets & thinks they will be friends  forever.

Janelle was next.  Paula said she is a sweetheart on the inside.  Svetlana said learning from her has been her greatest accomplishment. 

Jose pulls Paula aside to talk to her.  He can’t keep his composure & it made me cry too.  Hell, it chokes me up typing it now.  He tells her she has come a long way.  She said he is the most difficult one to say goodbye to.  He tells her to stay strong.  Then he goes to say goodbye to Tyler.  Tyler said Jose is the most loyal & they will be buddies for life.  Jose said he learned not to judge a book by its cover.  He drove himself to the house so he drives himself home.

John said he learned a lot.  A boat arrives to pick up Svetlana & Tyler.  Tyler said he learned from Paula to let people in.  Paula said Svetlana was beautiful inside & out & didn’t let her fall all the way down.  Svetlana said Paula was her comfort.

Paula said she’s not scared to go home.  She fell in love with 7 people.  6 strangers & herself.  They saved her life.  God that had me bawling.  I am such a sap.
