First let me start by saying I think I may have missed a part of this. I am not a night owl & the last 2 nights I was up late cuz of the finales & I overslept this morning & missed the first half hour of the show. But the following is what I DID see.
Julie Chen is in L.A. We see Brian's audition tape talking about seeling cars. Then is various clips of his time on the island. Julie said he was really good at most of the challenges but didn't seem happy when he won the videotape from home when everyone saw how well he lived. Brian said at that point he had the choice of taking them in like family or leave them out in the cold. So he invited them in & let them enjoy his family. If they judge you on your possessions it shows how shallow they are.
Julie brings up his adult films. She asked if the producers knew about it. Stay seated for this one folks & don't drink anything until you're done with this paragraph cuz Brian tells a whopper here. We also see a clip of one of his movies with his wife. Brian said it's all about perception. Michael Douglas & Bruce Willis does 100 million dollar budgets & they show their butts & he showed his for under 100 thousand & it's considered something other than art & he considers what he did art! So it's all a matter of how you look at things. He said sure the producers knew but he doesn't think it's a big deal to show your butt. Julie makes light & said it happens on 'NYPD Blue'.
Julie then goes into how Brian's wife was arrested for spousal abuse last month. She was at last night's reunion show. Julie asked how they are doing. Brian said like other things in life you hit roadblocks & speedbumps & you have to deal with them & try to move forward. He said she was looking wonderful last night.
They take the first call from Lisa who asked has he spoken to Helen since last night. Brian asked her if she enjoyed the show & she said yes. He said excellent. He said of course they've talked & are very good friends. It was the heat of the moment & thinks all she wanted was a little apology & he thinks he gave her what she wanted.
Next caller Shawn congratulated him & asked if he was bothered or offended when he was called 'trashy used car salesman' & did he value their opinions? Brian said no he wasn't bothered. Being in the car business he's gotten a bad rap & until you've dealt with him on a transaction or so he would change comletely your perception of a used car salesman (not). He thinks it is one way of people trying to stab with words. He can't let it affect him or take it personal.
After a break Brian is joined by Clay, Jan & Helen. First is Helen only. Julie asked if they have kissed & made up. Julie said she put Sue Hawk's speech to shame. Julie said she had stomach cramps watching her deliver that but then when she went to vote she seemed at peace with the answer from Brian. Was it that or that Clay gave her the worst answer possible so he would never get her vote. Helen said she thought it was insane to not go after the vote. Her issue with Brian was more personal nature, feeling betrayed & she wanted to deal with it with him. 3 knives in her back but only one of them hurt. After everything they had been through with the trust, respect & relationship they had built, she really wanted to get some answers for herself. She never waivered on the underlying vote.
Clay is next. He just strolled in from the after-party. Julie congratulates him on winning $100,000. She asked him if he would have brought Brian if he had won final Immunity. He said yes. Julie asked if it would be loyalty or strategy? He said both. He felt he had a better chance against Brian than the others. He didn't think he had in the bag but had a chance. He was real surprised with some of the issues.
Caller Jeanette's is for Helen & Jan. Jan isn';t there right now. She comes in. Jeanette said the girls were always together & cooking together & she would think they would have an alliance. Why didn't they try to be leaders & just follow Brian. He had claws in both of them. If they had been leader they could've won. Helen said it's a tough thing out there. Anyone who jumps out ot be an obvious leader, & she had to hold back on that - anyone who knows her knows she will jump out front & take a leadership role, out there it's a whole different game & if you do that you cut your throat. Jan said she & Helen had an undiscussed bond together. They should have gone together & formed a force. Julie asked why Helen didn't pull Jan aside to find out if she would be stabbed int he back. Helen said she trusted the guys who told her it was Jan going. That day was Jan was off by herself & she went to the guys saying Jan was crying & she can't take it & wanted to tell Jan she was going but really it was her going.
Julie asked Brian to describe his fellow Survivors & what is their strongest quality. He said Helen is wonderful. Clay is humorous, a comedian & makes you laugh. Jan is a great friend. Julie mentions that Jan may have overslept cuz she isn't wearing shoes & you see her red socks. She is also wearing black leather pants.
Later in the show they bring Brian back again & now he's joined by Jeff Probst & Mark Burnett. Julie said the check is the real deal & not a prop. Mark said he earned it. Mark signs the check & gives it to Brian. Brian said he is going to double it, triple it, quadruple it. He is going to take care of business. Mark & Jeff crack up. Brian said he is going to take care of people around him. (Give half to C.C. after taxes - Ha!) He's going to take care of himself. He said it's so funny how people always talk about how they will spend it but let's talk about how to double it or triple it. He will do good with it, increase it & build, build, build. Julie said this guy never quits. Mark said the game is over & this is real life.
Jeff said he did notice midway through that Brian was extrememly smart at the game. Not manipulated people but give them what they want. Brian was the first one to figure out that Julie likes to have people nod when she's talking to them & he liked a subtle handshake; a used car salesman & it worked. Brian said high-line used cars.
Julie asked to see the check. She said she will never hold a million dollar check again. She put it down her shirt saying she just wanted to make sure it's safe. She gave it back & then they plugged how all the props from all the seasons are going on Ebay & the profits go to the Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation.
Julie shaoved Brian out of the way & said she was done with him & wanted to know about The Amazon. Jeff said it's wet & hot. It's as hot as Thailand but rained like never before. He lists the various animals there; caymen alligators, pirhana, anaconda, sloth & so on.
Julie asked Brian if the weather affected his game & he said he enjoys the heat. She said he had an advantage then. Jeff said she will never get Brian, he doesn't care what it is, no matter what happens he intended it to. She asked Brian if that's true & he said & a little luck helps too. She said he's a puppetmaster controlling people out there. Brian said a little luck helps too. Julie said he doesn't break a sweat. Jeff said no he doesn't. Jeff said him & Richard Hatch together. Mark said Brian & Richard Hatch are moving in together. Julie congratulates Brian, tells Mark he is the true master & told Jeff great job on last nights show.
