What does he think of Penny & why did he vote for Jan?

After showing clips Julie interviewed Jake. He thinks he was voted out cuz he was the last from another tribe. He would like to think they thought of him as a threat, but knows it's cuz he was from Sook Jai. He said if the roles were reversed he would have done the same to them so no hard feelings.

This was just a teaser at the top of the hour. They then displayed a 1-800 number to call to ask Jake a question live. Then they went to news.

We see more clips of Jake's time in Thailand. Jake's wife was there with him. Julie asked about Jake choosing his own tribe. If he had to do it again, he would choose the same. He absolutely loved his team. He doesn't know why they lost. You win some you lose some.

When they merged their goal was for each member of his tribe to try to win over one person from the other tribe & make friends. They were totally unsuccessful. It was tough cuz they had 18 days together & then you merge & try to make friends & then you compete again against them. He thinks that made it tough that they were 2 separate tribes.

Clip of Clay attacking Jake after Tribal council. Jake thought Clay's tribe thought the same way as Clay. He laughed when Clay had his outburst. He looked sad but was laughing. He knew the outburst would come back to haunt Clay.

Julie asked Jeni what the waterbug tasted like. She said she tried to convince herself it was potato chipsor Frito's but it was terrible. She can't really remember what any of it tasted like but the waterbug was the worst. Julie asked Jake why he didn't tell her he loved her & she didn't have to do that. He said he did say that. She was determined to spend the night with him. Jeni felt strong & would eat anything they put in front of her. Jake said he would do the same for her.

Commercial break.

The first caller, Chris, asked if there was one person in hindsight that he regrets choosing? Jake said absolutely not. He called his team "The Dream Team". He loved them & still does.

Donna asked why didn't he expose Clay as being the true conspirator of votes against Ted? Jake said he's asked himself that question a million times cuz that would have been a smart thing to do. His hindsight's always been better than his foresight.

Kim asked if he hadn't been voted out, would his tribe think he had formed an alliance with CG before they were voted out? Jake said no. He thinks his tribe would have stayed with him through thick & thin all the way through. Julie said Penny didn't. Jake laughed & said she really didn't. He doesn't regret picking Penny. She had to do something to win the game. It did hurt his feelings. He said they had an agreement to not help each other & communication is always a problem. He didn't mean for her to snuff his flame out. He's not the first guy to be snuffed out by a beautiful girl.

Elaine asked why did he vote for Jan in the last 2 Tribal Councils. Jake said first, when he talked to Jan he asked what was important to her & she said to make the jury. She never said she wanted to win. That wasn't the main reason he voted for ther though. Penny came to him before TC where Penny voted against him & said they were voting against Jan.

Jake ends with saying he enjoyed doing it immensely & it was a wonderful experience.
