Why did she go after Jake?

Julie talked with Penny at the top of the hour for a minute. Penny totally looked different. I wouldn't recognize her. Julie asked why she thought she was voted out instead of Jake. She thinks she was more of a threat & scheming more at the end. She voted for Jake cuz the other tribe told her she had to do that to stay since it was going to be an interesting vote with some voting for her & some for Jake. She didn't set out to lie & scheme. She wanted to see what everyone else was doing & get to know them. She changed after the merge.

They go to news before going back to Penny. They show clips of last night's show. Julie asked why she picked Ted instead of Jake for the Reward. She said she didn't know they had to pick. She just looked next to her & it was Helen & Ted. She went with Ted.

She & Jake had talked about their alliance & thought it was in their best interests to distance from each other. It capped it for her when Jake & Helen went in the canoe to get water. As soon as Brian & Clay got back from their trip Helen went to them & said they won't believe what Jake has been saying. So Penny knew that what Jake was doing wasn't working.

Julie asked about Clay telling her, & everyone else, they will go to final 4. She thinks everyone now is a tough player & fighting to stay another 3 days. You have to believe it when someone tells you they will take you to finals.

Penny thought Helen & Brian were leading the tribe but after the Immunity Challenge & how strong Helen & Ted were & put her torches out made her think they might be the leaders. She thinks there's a lot of leadership going on. Penny thinks there are alliances but it's not seen or talked about.

Commercial break.

All the hosts are there now. They talk about Shii Ann saying Penny is manipulative. Penny said people can make any accusations they want & Shii Ann was trying to stay in the game. She said it was amazing to see Shii Ann change after the tribes came together. She doesn't know why Shii Ann wasn't like that with them & feels they were just as nice to her as Chuay was.

She is asked about Ted. Julie said Ted doesn't believe people & Jake wasn't lying to him. Penny said Ted was the toughest to get to know. She would talk to him & he wouldn't talk back. She thinks Ted is more open to his own tribe than them.

After Shii Ann was voted off it was torture for her cuz of what she had told Chuay so she went & talked to them to show them she IS sweet & not manipulative.
