The Austin cast is still the target.

Melinda is totally whipped. She calls Danny & says to us that she doesn’t want to be there w/out him.

The challenge is called “Jail Break”. Each team would be locked in a cell & have to use only their face to dig through 6 bowls of slop to find 3 keys, 1 to unlock each of their handcuffs & the other to open the cell. Once out they run while their legs are still cuffed to the finish line 50-yards away. The winners would get movie tickets for a year & if Melinda & Ryan or Wes & Casey won they would pick the team to replace them for Exile.

Coral & Evan got to pick the order again. Katie & Eric took on Tonya & Johnnie first. Tonya & Johnnie finished first. Johanna & Jesse got the keys faster than Darrell & Aviv but Jo dropped the key so Darrell & Aviv finished first. Melinda & Ryan went against Wes & Casey & surprisingly Melinda finished first. Tina & Kenny went against Theo & Chandra & Theo was faster. Derrick & Diem went against Shane & Linette & Shane won. Coral & Evan went last & they didn’t want to win this one so just goofed around.

The teams finished in this order from worst to first:
Coral & Evan 6:50
Derrick & Diem 5:05
Tina & Kenny 3:17
Melinda & Ryan 2:20
Shane & Linette 2:59
Wes & Casey 2:52
Katie & Eric 2:50
Johanna & Jesse 2:37

So Exile stands & Melinda & Ryan and Wes & Casey are off to the race where they have to carry packs that weigh as much as their luggage did when they arrived. There are 3 checkpoints along the way that they have the option of answering the puzzle or not & if they complete it they get a reward that may help them win. Melinda’s pack was 101 pounds & Ryan’s was 55 totaling 156. Wes’ was 56 & Casey’s 57 totaling 113. The first checkpoint was a phrase that was just one word w/out the vowels that they have to figure out. Wes didn’t even want to bother with it. Melinda solved it “If you can read this then drop your packs”. So she & Ryan get to do the rest of the race without the packs. The next one was a puzzle where they had to move boxes around & again Wes doesn’t want to bother with it. Melinda & Ryan get there & discover they never grabbed their flag from the first checkpoint so Ryan ran back while she started on the puzzle. She never figures it out.

We don’t see the rest of the Race & go to the others waiting for the winning team to return. It is Wes & Casey. Ryan tells us he doesn’t think Melinda wanted to be there. Wes brags to Johanna that he is too good. Theo tells us that Wes is cocky & he can go into Exile every time.

Next week Wes & Melinda argue. Wes mouths off to the other competitors & tells them if they make him go against his girlfriend he will be really pissed off. Whatever dork.
