I thought Lee pretty much sucked on his task while Sean did a great job & was rewarded by being hired.

The show started live in L.A. since that is where the new season is filmed for the January ’07 season. When Trump asked the audience who should win it was obvious they wanted SEAN. Trump claimed he hadn’t made up his mind yet & that people could vote at NBC.com.
Then it went back to the final tasks. Turns out Andrea was fine. It was a burst blood vessel in her sinus. She went back to work. Sean freaked out one guy when he said he wanted a guy dressed like a Panda. George doesn’t think that Sean spends enough time w/ his team. I think Sean is just good at delegating. I thought Sean did a decent job planning the Barenaked Ladies concert.
Lee though did a horrible job IMO. He lay have thought Lenny was his go-too guy but Lenny was just so rude to everyone. Execs, celebrities, whoever. They had a meeting with some Execs & it was just a disaster. Roxanne tells us she was embarrassed. Then Lenny decides to order all Mediums for the hockey uniforms for the stars. Duh. Does he not know that they have pads under their sweater too? I would never think Denis Leary is wearing a Medium. Just stupid. Jason Priestley is the 1st Celebrity to arrive but there was no one to greet him & escort him where he has to go. I think Lee wanted Lenny to do it but he was elsewhere. So Lee got someone not on his team to do it. Carolyn says she doesn’t know why Lee chose Lenny or Pepe since he was fired the 2nd week.
Trump calls Lee to give him a heads up on his arrival. Yet he still wasn’t there to greet him & Trump didn’t like that at all. Lenny Clarke announced the players. Dang he looks so good. I think it is funny on ‘Rescue Me’ that they say he lost the weight from being in prison. Jaime Pressley was auctioning off the cars & before she went out on the ice she gave Lenny some sh*t for not being a good Apprentice. They ended up making $35,000 for the car. At the end of the auction, the Denis Leary Foundation woman, Liz, was happy with what Lee had done. Lee felt confident after his task that he would win.
Pontiac was not happy with Sean’s event cuz they didn’t have Pontiac signs everywhere. I did see one big one inside. Trump called Sean & he was waiting for him when his helicopter landed. Steve & Ed from Barenaked Ladies did the auctioning. They made $40,000. Trump then drove one of the car’s on stage so he could have some spotlight & then Sean introduced BNL. George actually danced with some lady. Just like Lee, Sean was confident he would win.
Time for the final Boardroom. Trump asked Sean why did he pick the team he had. Sean said he wanted balance & a team that got along. He thinks he won & that his team was better. Lee said his team was passionate about him winning. Carolyn asked why did he pick Pepe? Lee said Lenny would die to see him win & doesn’t think Sean has anyone that devoted to him. Ummmm. Tammy maybe?
Then they battled over age & education. Sean is older with more experience. Lee said he went to Cornell & got 4.0 & was in the honors society. Sean said he had the equivalent of a 4.0 in England & he was Valedictorian. Check & mate.
Show goes live & Trump asks Don & Ivanka who he should pick & of course they both just say they are both good. Last season’s winner Randall was there & he just wanted to promote his website. Trump again asks the audience who should win & they say Sean again.
Trump talks to some of the fired cast. He mentions Tarek being in Mensa again. Tarek said he has the utmost respect for Sean & he has great integrity. Trump made jokes about Sean always saying he was in love with Tammy & she said that just shows his passion for everything. Trump wanted to give props to Pepe since they always dissed him. Trump said that Lee relied on Lenny & wanted to know why. Lenny rambled off something like gold always increasing in value & that is what Lee is so Trump should invest in gold. Charmaine said they are both great but Sean has the skills needed to work for Trump.
Trump says the 2 jobs will be his new hotel in Honolulu or the Condo/ Hotel in NYC. Sean said he is there to learn from Trump so he picks NYC. Lee said he is a native NYer so he chose it as well.
Trump polls the fired & it looked to be equal for each. George said they are both great. Carolyn agreed & said Lee is creative & defines thinking out of the box. She Sean is the best motivator, has a lot of energy & is a true leader.
Trump asked each to tell him why he should pick them. Lee said he stepped up an unprecedented 4 times as Project Manager. He thinks he is better than Sean. Sean thinks he is better than Lee. He has the aptitude & attitude to work for him & has been working with Fortune 500 companies for 10 years making million dollar deals.
Trump asked Sean if he is going to marry Tammy. Sean said they are dating & are in love. Trump said the Viewer Poll was overwhelmingly for one candidate & he agrees with it but is surprised it was such a landslide cuz they were both outstanding. He would like to hire both but that isn’t the name of this game. Like Randall said, it is Apprentice, not Apprenti.
Trump told Lee he was…. Fired. So Sean was hired. I totally agree with this one. I thought Sean kicked Lee’s ass this task. Lee was good at some things & totally blew on others. But the kid will be a dynamo in 10 years. The new season doesn’t begin until January.
