What does he think of Cirie now?

Harry said the look on Shane’s face last night was absolutely priceless. He said he had no idea. Shane said he had no idea. He knows the game & there’s a possibility but he had made his bed & boxed himself in with Aras & Cirie. He thought they would hold firm. Harry laughs at him.
Harry said Cirie is really pulling some strings out there. Shane said it has been amazing to watch her journey on the show cuz when she got out there she had no chance of winning & it exuded out of her. She laid low & worked hard. He & Aras looked out for her. A couple weeks ago you could tell, something switched in her & she was like “I can win this”. It has been really amazing to watch her journey. Harry agreed & said it is really phenomenal.
Harry said Shane was surprised last week too. Shane said they surprised him cuz Danielle was supposed to go. Harry laughs at him & says Danielle is always supposed to go & she still stays there. Shane said there was a bit of a flip flop. He had created a house away from everyone he called “the summer house” up on the ridge that no one was allowed to go to. Harry laughed & asked if it had his make believe Blackberry. Shane said it had everything & no one was allowed to go up there. So he came down late & was left out of the loop which was better for them that he wasn’t around those last 5 days.
Harry said one of the greatest moments maybe in the history of the show is when he got the opportunity to see his son. The secret scene was Shane talking about knowing his son was near was unbelievable & he was crying. They lay together on the couch & his son tells him he is proud of him. Boston tells the camera that his Dad’s biggest flaw is that he is an alliance with 3 other people & if they turn on him he is gone. Harry said his son was prophetic.
Harry said Shane has his son’s name tattooed on his chest & that seemed to be the other thing other than cigarettes that he really yearned for & missed. What did it mean to him last night to be able to have that reunion. Shane said going through those 30 days of depletion & feeling so wrecked & then having him show up & get to be with him is an experience he wouldn’t have had on any other terms. On any other level. The love he felt & the togetherness they had was really amazing.
Harry said now that he is back home & his life is sort of back to normal has the dynamics of their relationship changed or does he just value him that much more. Shane said he thinks you gain an amazing amount of perspective from being on the show. You’re civilized & they turn you into a caveman & you learn how to deal with all that & then everything that’s really important is right there in front of you & just reinforces it. The one thing he does want to say, he & Boston have an amazing relationship but if it wasn’t for his Mother, Bird, allowing them to play, she has been a real cornerstone of both their relationships & he can’t thank God enough for her.
Harry said going back to the beginning of the show, he was flipped out from the moment he got there. He asked how many packs of cigarettes a day did he smoke. Shane said 3 packs a day. Harry laughed he had to go cold turkey & people were literally begging him to stay & he doesn’t think he has ever seen that on a show that someone actually wants to leave, they were begging him to stay. Harry said that was counter-intuitive. He ended up being a great asset. Shane said when they got on the island initially the 4 of them bonded right away & they wanted him to stay badly cuz they had a safe 4 of them until the merge. He was schizophrenic at that point cuz he hadn’t had a cigarette in 6 days & no water. The one thing you need to come off of cigarettes is water. He was literally going out of his mind. Harry said for us as an audience & fans of the show, we really liked to see him go crazy. Shane said he is sure he does. Harry said every single second of it. Harry asked Shane if he has any cigarettes now. Shane reached into his coat pocket & said he has plenty of cigarettes & offered him one. Harry laughed & thanked him.
