He pretty much said the same stuff he has said on other shows. He also sang 'Butterflies'.

Regis wasn’t there & D.L. Hughley was co-hosting with Kelly. Kelly said Ace was really a fan favorite. He sang ‘Butterflies’. I don’t know if he was nervous or had too much makeup on but his cheeks were very rosey. He sang a lot in the falsetto & I am sure that made Randy happy. I am not normally bothered by it as much as everyone else but I thought it was obnoxious today. The girls in the audience were hooting & hollering everytime though.

Kellie asked if he minds her calling him a heartthrob. He said not at all. He said it sounds better coming from him than… Kelly finished & said D.L. Kelly said that one girl asked him to marry her & said this must be happening to him a lot. Ace said this is only the 3rd time he has come out of the AI cocoon & it nice to meet the fans & see everyone he will see on tour hopefully.

D.L. said Ace has the personality for that cuz if people loved him he would be naked all the time. D.L. said one woman made Ace a scrapbook & his own Mother hasn’t even made him [D.L.] one. Ace & Kelly laughed.

Kelly asked what happened last week. He changed his look with a suit & a ponytail. She loved that look but some people said that hurt him & does he think it did. Ace said it was the first suit he ever bought in his life. His Grandparents & Parents came so dressed up for them. What a way to go.

Kelly asked if he got any helpful advice from the judges at all. Ace said at the end he actually did. Paula & Randy both said this is just the beginning & keep you head up & keep moving. Then Simon came over & he wasn’t sure what his feel would be but Simon shook his hand & said he has a feeling he will be seeing a lot from him. The audience hoots & Kelly said that is high praise from Simon. Ace said it was very high praise from him.

Next he will do the tour. He is waiting to see what opportunities come in. Right now it has been a lot of reality shows, movie opportunities & definitely singing too. He just wants to see what comes in. Kelly asked what is his big hope? Does he want to sing first or do acting or what? Ace said he wants to do everything & be kept busy. He wants to be out with the people & be with the fans. D.L. joked when they go on the road with ‘Kings of Comedy 2’ he can come out with them. Ace laughed & said he will hold him to that.
