Who does she blame more for turning on her? Did she have any idea Terry found the Idol?

Renee said she thought Ruth Marie exited with such class by saying goodbye to everyone even though they just stabbed her in the back. Ruth Marie said it was a little bit shocking. She had about a 2-hour window where Dan had come to her & told her “Oh my gosh, the vote has changed” so she was trying to work Terry & you’re constantly trying to save yourself. It’s exhausting.

The secret scene was Ruth Marie saying that Dan told her that the 5 of them had a solid agreement no matter what. They are rock solid to the end & money doesn’t matter, it’s the commitments they made. This is beyond 39 days, he is planning on having these friends for the rest of his life. Ruth Marie believed she had an agreement with 4 stand-up guys.

Renee said one of them turned out to be a stand-up guy & wanted to know which one she blamed the most. Ruth Marie said Sally out-gamed her. Sally wanted it so bad & she worked Austin for about a day & a half. She thinks Austin went back on her a little bit but she can’t blame him for keeping a 27-year-old. She laughed. Ruth Marie said she was closer to his age & someone to hang around with so she won’t hold that against him. Renee said she thought Ruth Marie looked great in a bikini & Ruth Marie thanked her. Ruth Marie said Terry was calling the shots so you could kind of hear last night that he was saying it wasn’t a handshake on his part & it has been since the 3rd grade she has heard that but it worked.

Renee brought up Terry on Exile Island & finding the Idol & asked if they had any idea he had it. Ruth Marie said she knew for certain he had it & thinks everyone else did too. There was too much gibber-jabber on his part explaining it & no one was asking him directly if he found it so she sorta sensed everyone knew. She could be wrong cuz no one discussed it but she was pretty certain of it.

Renee said they had no food for 11 days & were really weak. Ruth Marie said they were but you would be amazed that as soon as those challenges started they were all ready to go. She thought they had 3 or 4 more days before it was going to get ugly.

It was the experience of a lifetime & has had many good experiences at her age & it was truly amazing. Renee asked if being crowned “Watermelon Queen” in 1978 is South Carolina one of those good experiences? Ruth Marie said it was one of the great experiences for certain.

Ruth Marie wants to run across country & was working on that before being cast for ‘Survivor’. She wants to run a marathon a day & never get in a motorized vehicle. Renee said she didn’t buy that older women thing for a minute.
