They hike up a steep mountain & have to corral cattle. Matt is the leader & he removes another person & a new leader is chosen.
11/4 No Boundaries

It’s Day 12 of 30. They are 4,000 feet above sea level. Troy takes Matt (leader) in a canoe to give him the instructions. They have to hike straight up a steep mountain. *Matt said he decided to push hard to see what people are capable of. Matt was high energy the whole time. Jill has a real hard time with the hike. *Jill said she has never done anything like that & her legs started aching. She felt like a newborn colt. Matt asked others to take Jill’s stuff to make it easier for her. *Matt was worried they wouldn’t be able to motivate her. *Jill said they were all wonderful & helped spur her on. The hike is all uphill on tough terrain. They get to the first destination & see horses & get all excited. Troy told them not to get excited cuz the horses don’t mean a thing. He said this is the start of their group reward event. The horses do not have saddles. They are packhorses. If they win, part of the reward is the horses will carry their packs back down the mountain. They have to get to the top of the mountain & each one has to have one hand on the rope at all time. They have 30 minutes to do it. Troy said if they succeed they will also get time in a hot tub later. They love that.
Jill struggles again but doesn’t give up. Matt & John helped her. Troy walked along with them. *Dustin said she doesn’t know where Matt gets all the energy & he helped them all a lot. They make it to the top & Matt has Jill get on top of the rock & wave their flag. *Jill chokes up when she relays that. She said it was incredible.
They get to the resort & get in the hot tub. Dustin & John do a synchronized swimming routine. Matt notices Troy looking all comfortable so they plan to throw him in the lake. Troy catches on right away & runs away. John & Matt catch him & throw him in.
They get back on the road & find a spot to set up camp for the night. *Jill cries & thinks she will be the one removed the next day. She said she slowed everyone today. *Matt said Jill gave him reason to remove her but she was more triumphant than the rest of them. *Jill can’t think of anyone else Matt would remove. She thinks it’s cuz she’s older & doesn’t fit into the 20s crowd.
They get to the next destination & are told they will be horseback riding today. They are given boots & jeans to wear. Jill has been riding horses since she was 6 & could be important for this challenge. They are trained on the horses. Jill told the rancher about all the different riding styles she does. *John was intimidated by the horses & didn’t know anything about the equipment. He misheard that his horse’s name is C.C. & thought it was sissy. *He said first he got a pink wetsuit & now has a horse named Sissy. They all ride to the removal site. *John was the only one who didn’t talk to Matt the night before about the removal. When they get there Matt has to go off with Troy who tells him to pick 3 & do the usual & have each one say why they should stay & then tell each of them why they are staying or being removed.
Matt takes John, Kelly & Jill. Jill said she has had an incredible time & her challenges have been well met until the day before yesterday & the climb. She almost sat down twice & said take her away but Matt & John helped her. If she stays she will continue to give her all. John said when he falls flat on his face that will be his time to go & that hasn’t happened yet. Kelly said this has been a learning experience & she’s not the strongest but is holding her ground & pitching in. Matt said it’s not personal at all & his decision is a win/win situation. He kept Kelly & John. He removed Jill. Jill hugs them all. She said whomever wins, deserves it. *Kelly said she has grown close with Jill & she’s a great person. *Jill said no matter what age you are if you have the desire to learn & break your boundaries you need to go out there & do it.
Troy points out cattle to the group & tells them they have to round them up on their horses. They have to herd 100 cattle 4 miles to the corral. Ina is again a benefit to the group. She competed on horses while growing up. *Kelly thinks Ina does everything & no one is surprised at what she can do anymore. They get the cattle to the corral. But it’s not over. Now they have to inventory the cattle. If they complete it they will get 2 bicycle repair kits. The group has to remove 12 pairs of cattle into an adjacent pen. They are in teams of 3 to do it. Troy will call out the name of the pairs they have to do. Ina, Allen & John are the first team & they get 2 pairs in the allotted time. The other teams are Matt, Kelly & Eli and Dustin, Kirsten & Stephanie. They don’t get any cattle so they fail the mission.
They go to camp & have a cookout. They have to move their tents from the campfire cuz there was a bear spotted in the area so they have to stay 100 meters away from their food & where they go to the bathroom as well. John made sure people knew he helped out where as *Dustin said it’s not her style to point out what she does. *Allen said the core clump is Eli, Ina, Matt & himself. The 2nd clump is Dustin, Steph & Kelly. The 3rd is Kirsten & John. He said you can see crushes going on. Matt has a crush on Steph & Kirsten has a crush on Matt. We watch their little 3some by the fire at night. *Matt said he’s a happy camper. *Kirsten said they’re not having a 3some. They were just laying across each other’s laps like a big orgy but nothing was going on.
The next morning they have a ranking to pick the new leader. *Kelly said she’s heard it’s between her & Steph. *Steph said there is like 5 of them in an alliance & they said yesterday they should put her up. *Allen said he didn’t agree with it cuz he’d rather see Kelly as leader cuz she contributes more so he talked to Matt about it. Allen is going to test how much putting someone at the bottom will affect the ranking.
Matt put Dustin 1st. Then Kelly. *Ina said women tend to be more competitive towards her so Dustin might remove her. She put Stephanie first, Kelly second & Dustin last. *Allen said Ina really likes Steph but he is going to put Kelly at 1 & Steph last to see how that affects the ranking. *Ina feels they made a pact w/ the alliance & they need to stick with it. *Allen said he’s not breaking ranks cuz everyone would be happy with Kelly as leader anyway.
Matt is called up to announce the new leader. Kelly is the next leader. Matt wrote I’m too sexy on her arm. *Stephanie thought Kelly didn’t want to do it now. *Kelly said she has a laid back leadership style but also expects people to pull their weight. She’s nervous cuz if the next thing is mountain biking, she’s in trouble. (Well what do you think when the reward was bicycle repair kits?)
Cut to preview for next week where they are…MOUNTAIN BIKING!!! *Ina is disappointed in people not standing by the alliance they agreed to. *Eli said Ina voices her opinion a lot & it bothers some people. The guys & the girls separate a little & tensions grow.
