The Godlewskis knew there was a good chance they would finish last so they put on as many of their clothes as they could. & it paid off & this was a non-Philimination leg.

They have to go to Panama City to the Smithsonian for their clue & then take a boat across the canal to an island for the next one. The Weaver family continued being idiots & they said alliances are stupid.
Everyone wants the earliest flight at Continental so that was the first equalizer this episode. But not everyone could get on that flight. Only half. Linz, Bransen & Paolos got it. The Paolo Mother & Son argued in line as usual & one of the Godlewskis butt in trying to get them to stop. The first plane landed at 6:40pm. The second at 9:10.
But here was the next equalizer. The boat place didn’t open until 7am the next morning. So everyone slept there. The next morning they all got on their boats. The Gaghan boat went the wrong way. The Linz boat went extremely slow so everyone passed them.
The next clue was a Detour. For Rhythm they had to collect 4 musical instruments & then deliver them to a Pub & put them in their cases. For Coos they had to use binoculars to find 5 wooden birds & then circle them on the sheet that was full of different birds. This leg also had the ONLY Fast Forward. They would have to tandem bungee jump in groups of 2.
Everyone runs back to their boats after getting the Detour clue & the Weaver Mom tells another team’s driver to go slow. Isn’t she so encouraging? Some of the teams’ boats went passed up the dock & had to go back.
The Paolos decide to go for the Fast Forward. So do the Gaghans. It was a foot race & the Gaghan Mom lost her balance & fell head first into a van. The Paolos got there 1st. The Gaghans waited in case they didn’t do it. The Dad & younger Son went first. The older son whined & bitched & complained but he eventually did it w/ his Mom so they won the Fast Forward. The Gaghans then went to do the Instruments.
Weaver Mom got out of her bus to ask a driver for directions & he said he would lead them there. The Godlewskis offered to pay a taxi driver to go there & have their bus follow.
The Bransens went for the birds while the Godlewskis & Linzes helped each other & did the instruments. They wanted to make sure the Weavers were the ones to go home. The Weavers went for the birds & were wrong the first time but got it the second. Bransens got it right on the first try. They now have to head to the baseball stadium.
For the Road Block they had to get either a base hit or homerun off of a little league pitcher. They would only get 3 pitches to do so & if they didn’t get a hit they would have to go to the end of the line & try again. I thought this sucked cuz it wasn’t fair to all the teams. Some people were pitched garbage while others got it right over the plate. & when they did hit it the fielders didn’t really try to get the ball so no matter the hit, it was a base hit.
The Weavers were there first & the Son did it. The Linzes did the usual little league thing & chattered up the batter. Weaver Mom didn’t like that & complained that it was wrong & claimed she was only being encouraging. Yeah, to her son. Not to any other team. She is such a *****. I have seen interviews w/ the team from last week that was eliminated that are from New Orleans. The Weavers are the only team from TAR to not send them anything, not even a card or just a call expressing sympathy, after the hurricane destroyed their home.
The Paolos finished 1st & got a trip back to Panama for their prize. The Weavers got 2nd. Gotta love the Godlewskis spunk. On the way to the Pit Stop they knew they had a good chance of being last & prepared for the chance of a non-Philimination by putting on as much of their clothes as they could. The Bransens finished 3rd. Linz – 4th. Gaghan – 5th. The Godlewskis did finish last. Their preparation paid off & it is a non-Philimination. Phil took their money & all they get to keep is the clothes on their back & their passports. They won’t get any money for the next leg.
Next week they have to cross a rope bridge high up in the rain forest. The Weaver’s car gets stuck.
