Finally I get my wish! The stupid skateboarder has officially left the island. Cool, dude! The village is now missing their idiot. I could go on and on but I guess I will just sit here and gloat silently. But, before I stop, I just have to say how thankful I am that his scary grin will not be gracing my television screen any longer.
Survivor 5 - Episode 6

Robb asked Penny is she was ever going to vote for him to be evicted from the island in the last tribal council. She said no. Robb tells her than Ken said that the vote was between Stephanie and Robb. Robb tells Penny that he no longer trusts Ken. Right after that, Robb goes over to Ken spouting some nonsense. Ken realizes that Robb is fussing at him. Robb tells Ken that obviously he is playing him. Ken points out that of all the people in the tribe, he was the only one who told Robb the truth about who he was voting out. Everyone else told him they were voting Shii Ann out but instead voted Stephanie out. Ken said that the vote was between he and Stephanie because Robb never shuts up. Ken also tells Robb that he has some set of balls to come to him fussing when he was the only one to tell the truth. Robb is now switching tactics and is mad because Ken did not tell him that people were grumbling about him prior to tribal council and hey, he is not stupid dude.
Over on Chuay Ghahn, Jan and Helen are swimming over to their watering hole; about a three mile trip. Helen talks about the fact that the boat being missing is a sore spot with them right now. Later on, the guys get an idea about trying to swim over to the other island and look for the boat. They finally get there and only half look for it. My thoughts are, if you are going to put forth the effort to swim all the way out there, then swim/walk around the entire island. Don't just look where you think it might be - GRRR. Ted says that his swimming abilities are improving and that he is now swimming at whale speed now.
Back on Sook Jai things are not improving. Robb decides to eat a banana even though they have all decided to save the bananas. Ken is angry and goes to the others to double check to make sure they did all agree not to eat the bananas. Then he goes back to Robb and makes a sarcastic comment about him eating the bananas. Robb gets defensive and says if he wants a banana, then he will eat one. Shii Ann gets into the argument and Penny says that she needs to stay out of it and let the guys work it out.
REWARD CHALLENGE - One member from each team must be a ball launcher while the other 4 members are the catchers. The catchers are paired off against the opposite team's catchers. The object is to be the team that catches five balls first. You may take one time out and change places and you may try to keep the other team from catching their balls. The winner receives a Thai feast. Shii Ann sits out for Sook Jai. Initially Sook Jai takes the lead 4-1 with Robb catching all their balls. Chuay Ghahn calls a time out and Ted is now covering Robb. They quickly catch up with a 4-4 tie. Robb catches the last ball to cinch Sook Jai's victory.
Chuay Ghahn is upset about the loss but knows everyone gave 150% effort into this challenge so no one is to blame.
Sook Jai is very happy. Erin said that she did not expect something that unique and wonderful. Penny says that if there was an MVP award, Robb should get it.
Over on Chuay Ghahn, the guys are discussing that the merge should be happening soon and that they need to win the Immunity Challenge so that they can enter the merge with equal numbers. Brian and Ted discuss their alliance and how Clay does not know about their separate alliance.
Ken and Robb decide to go for a walk deep into the jungle to discuss their issues (Robb's issues more than Ken's). Robb says something stupid about how Ken made him make sense to himself. WHAT??? Anyway, now Robb is waxing poetic about how he is blessed to have even been there and that he now sees everything different blah blah blah.
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE -
Since it requires brains, Robb will sit out for Sook Jai (sorry couldn't resist). There are 21 flags. Each team can take 1, 2 or 3 only flags during each turn. The object is to make the odds in their favor so that when the last flag is going to be drawn, it is their team that draws it.
Sook Jai won the coin toss to decide who goes first. Sook Jai elects to go first. Chuay Ghahn wins the Immunity Challenge.
Over on Sook Jai, they are drinking the remaining wine and discussing how they feel about life, the game etc. Robb is going on and on about how much this place has changed him and how he hadn't talked to his father in many years but now all he can think about is calling him. He talks about how blessed he was for even getting the chance to be there and how the whole banana incident seems so lame now. Funny how people always seem to have seen the light once they know their time is up. Kind of like people in jail all of the sudden find Jesus. Everyone is falling for his sob story and believe that he is a new person now. I am guessing they also believe that I have ocean front property in Kentucky to sell as well.
The next morning on Sook Jai - wait - damn! They almost caught me with the whole chicken thing. So, of course, you know I now have no idea what happened that morning other than the fact they killed another chicken. Hey MB, how about a little warning next time. Geez.
TRIBAL COUNCIL
Erin states that the last three days have been the most dramatic. Penny said this challenge was the worst because they really wanted to win this one. Robb talks about how hard it was to sit on the sidelines and watch them lose. Shii Ann says that this will be the most difficult vote ever because they have all become close now. They discuss Robb's change and how he made everyone think last night. BARF
Robb gets everyone's vote except his own. He, of course, votes for Shii Ann.
Next week could be the merge or it could be something different. Hint of a twist to come or just another hoax to make you ponder? We will find out next Thursday.
