I am going to do Scott’s Savol’s elimination just a bit different then my usual style.

What a fascinating twist that Ryan did tonight having only a bottom two and having them feel comfortable and safe before he delivers the bad news. It was in bad taste and in poor class to do this to someone that was going to be given his walking papers.

Scott Savol has to be proud of his achievement on AI, despite all the bias’s and discrimination levelled at him by the AI Judges, specifically Simon and Randy. Despite other fan favourites like Constantine, Scott managed to back door them and stayed into the competition until this eighth round and he was the fifth man standing before he got the boot. Despite all other fan biases on his weight, his appearance, his character, and his attitude, Scott can be proud that he came this far. Let us not forget that Scott beat out fan favourite Constantine Maroulis much to the dismay of those fans. I think that Scott had to fight his way through this competition and he has obvious talent or he would not have got the votes he did and needed to beat out other finalists and stay in this long.

Scott Savol’s dream coupled with his experience on AI has only made him stronger and has made him face his personal demons. He can sing, he can blow to the point of being able to raise the roof, and he can make fans want to sing along with him and most importantly he CAN AND IS A STAR! (In more ways then one and beyond the scope of this AI competition). In Scott’s journey, he said that this competition is only the beginning of his dream and I believe that from this point on he can reach for those stars and make them into a phenomenon.

Where other fan favourites are predictable, he is unpredictable and yet he will always shine. The other odds he had against him are the judges FAVORTISM THAT THEY MADE NO BONES ABOUT AND FLAUNTED EVERY CHANCE THEY GOT! (It was disgraceful to watch Randy Jackson say with such venom that his personal favourites where more deserving then those in the bottom two tonight). Simon Cowell’s constant labelling and stigmatization of Scott Savol did not help matters, they in fact only served one purpose, and that was Simon’s discrimination against overweight people. Let us not forget Paula Abdul’s gushing and love for the males that she perceived to be better looking then Scott and more sexy. The AI Judges inability to be and stay neutral is a disaster and a disgrace to the show itself but to America.

Amidst all the laughter and glee, Scott still managed to outshine those that week in, and week out tried to bring him down, and yet he still outshone those finalists that had a advantageous edge over him with their experience. Keep it on and Keep it real Scott Savol. I for one and speak for many that thought you should be idol will look forward to your CD and we will buy it. The man to beat in this competition was never Bo Bice or Constantine Maroulis; the man to beat was Scott Savol!
