Why did she vote for Caryn & not Tom?

Stephenie said Ulong thought they had the game in the bag since they were younger & stronger but then could not win one challenge. She does think she would have had a good chance to win if she had been on Koror from the start. Instead they lost every time & she doesn’t like to lose. She had to come back over & over & keep her head up & that was hard.

Being alone was scary but it was awesome too since she was the last one left. She came into the game wanting to always do her best & that is what she did.

She thought it made more sense for the girls to gang up on the guys. She thought she sold it to the girls & didn’t find out till last night’s show that it was Caryn who spoiled it. She thinks they have no shot against the men.

Harry pointed out that she played 4 years Division 1 La Crosse & said she is so tough & probably the toughest woman to play Survivor. Steph said she doesn’t know what overcame her. She just wanted to win. She said the shooting challenge was just luck cuz she had never shot before. She said it was obvious from last night that she is no good w/ coconuts.

At last week’s Tribal Council she was crying cuz she knew she was on the chopping block. She didn’t until they got there & she heard what they were all saying & knew it was her. Janu didn’t want to be there & she was upset cuz if they are so tough why don’t they go against the tougher competition? She had nothing against Janu though.

She came back in a later segment to answer viewer questions. Renee asked if she was kicked out cuz she was so tough. Stephenie said she did well in all the challenges yet she still lost while the guys were tough & won.

The first caller asked if she could have had one member of Ulong make it to the merge who would it be & why? Steph said Boby Jon cuz he worked really hard & deserved to be there. She said even though he got disgustingly dirty & did some gross things at camp that she won’t tell on TV. Or Jeff cuz he is a tough competitor but he rolled his ankle. She said he knew how bad it was since he broke it a year before.

The next caller asked what impact did the letters have on her for the final days? Steph said she got a letter from everyone & she thought it would be just one from her brother Paul. They were amazing & just basically told her to keep her head up & they are proud of her no matter what. It did help keep her up cuz at that time she was really down. Renee mentioned how Tom just got letters & said that was enough to sustain him & Steph said they did get more food items & that they just didn’t have the time to air it all.

The last caller said Steph was her absolute favorite & asked why she wrote Caryn’s name instead of Tom’s? Steph said she was trying to do the all girl thing & then someone told her that Caryn told & she felt betrayed. Then Tom told her they were going to vote out Caryn so she just went with it & hoped it would be her.

Renee asked the last caller’s questions cuz there wasn’t time to go to the phone. Why did Steph decide to align w/ the girls instead of the guys? Steph said Ian & Gregg wouldn’t look her in the eye & Tom seemed to be leaning towards the guys & think she was a threat.
