The guy that wins the challenge gets to play matchmaker & either pick their opponent or pair up 2 other guys.

Ahmed was voted back just like I thought he would be. He got 4 votes & Jimmy got 2. They got new banners & pictures up at their gym. People have had it w/ Ishe’s behavior & that is why they brought back Ahmed. They knew he would get in Ishe’s head. Sergio seemed to be the only one on Ishe’s side.
Ahmed arrives, cocky as ever. He wears a shirt that said “Champion of Contender”. The guys go to their 1st Individual Challenge. The rules have changed. The one guy that wins gets to be matchmaker. They can either pick their opponent for the next fight or pair up 2 other guys. This challenge tested their agility & quickness. There were 3 legs & they had to wear boxing gloves. First leg eliminated the 1st 4 guys w/out a medicine ball. Alfonso & Anthony were out. Peter & Ahmed were out the next round. On the 2nd leg they had to move 3 medicine balls down the course. Jesse finished it 1st. Ishe dropped a ball right before the finish line so he was out. The final round was Jesse vs. Joey. JESSE WON.
Jesse called out Ishe. He apologized cuz the day before he had bickered w/ Ishe. He wasn’t apologizing TO Ishe but rather just for his behavior cuz that isn’t him. He said he acted irrationally. But he said he would not be fighting Ishe & he would be a matchmaker. He called up SERGIO. Sergio said at least he does what he says he would. This was a shot at Jesse for not fighting Ishe. We find out in confessionals that this was yet another plan by some of the guys to get in Ishe’s head. They put him up against Sergio who is his only ally & a tough fighter.
Ishe goes home to visit his wife & child. He brought her a purse. Ishe tells us that Sergio ain’t got nothin’ to make him respect him. Oh he will. Segio told us that Ishe’s heart is weak.
At this match I spotted William Shatner sitting w/ Mel Gibson. Neither were wearing “Shats”. James Caan was also there as usual.
I give the 1st round to SERGIO. ISHE got the next 2. I do believe Ishe hit Sergio after the bell at the end of Round 3 though. SERGIO took the 4th round. In the 5th round, Sergio would taunt Ishe by raising a fist & pumping it. Ishe would copy it & then Sergio punched him right in the face. Ishe wasn’t landing a lot of punches in the round & SERGIO won another one. SERGIO WON THE MATCH.
Ishe said he did his best but it hurts cuz he doesn’t want to think about boxing now & he is tired. He said you measure a true champion’s heart by how they pick themselves up. He is sorry he let down his wife & son.
They had another episode right after that one. The guys were happy that Ishe was gone. Ahmed gave a card he had gotten from his girlfriend to Sergio to read to him since he doesn’t read English well. Sergio was uncomfortable since it was personal but Ahmed was fine w/ it.
Sergio got a Reward for his win & was told to pick a buddy to go w/. He chose ALFONSO. They went golfing. Ahmed was bummed cuz he thought Sergio would pick him. Joey took advantage of this & tried to mess w/ Ahmed’s head by telling him that Sergio didn’t vote for him to come back.
The challenge was at the racetrack that Seabiscuit had his last race at. They would pull a harness racecart that had a member of their family in it. The 4 slowest would be cut the 1st round. The winner would not only be the matchmaker but would win a SUV. Jesse, Peter & Joey won the 1st round. Anthony kept going even though he hurt his hamstring.
Jesse quit during the next round cuz he wanted to conserve himself to fight. He got in the cart & his Mom tried to pull him for fun. Joey got to the finish line but stopped before crossing & let Peter win. Joey tells us that Peter deserved the car & it also proved he could be trusted by giving him the win. Peter was amazed cuz no one has given him anything & it was hard to accept it since he didn’t rightfully win it.
Anthony cries as he meets w/ a doctor about his hamstring. The doctor said his chance of fighting tomorrow doesn’t look good.
Guys have become suspicious of Joey’s motives & work Peter. But at the end Peter didn’t call out Joey cuz he gave him a car. He also didn’t target Anthony since he is hurt. I am sure he will live to regret that since Anthony said he would have targeted the hurt guy. Peter called out AHMED & ALFONSO.
Burt Reynolds & Freddie Prinze, Jr, were the celebrities at the match. Alfonso won the match right away by taking the 1st 3 rounds. Ahmed came back in the 4th but I don’t think he won it & marked it as a draw. I marked the 5th as a Draw too. ALFONSO WON.
Ahmed said it was not his day. It was a tough fight. He hopes Alfonso becomes the World Champ so he can say he lost to the Champion.
Next week Joey will fight.
