Janu couldn't handle the island so w/ a little prompting on Probst's part, she quit at Tribal Council.

After Tribal Council, Janu was shocked that Coby was voted out & she was crabby. Katie was talking about her behind her back & Janu heard it & flipped. She confronted her & told her to say it to her face.
The Reward Challenge divided them into 2 teams of 4 & they had to build a tower in the water & then climb up it to grab their flag & get to shore. The reward was a Palauan Feast of beer, food & dessert. Stephenie, Ian, Katie & Jenn were one team. But it was Gregg, Tom, Janu & Caryn that won.
During their meal, Janu left to puke. The others were upset that she was throwing up the meal that 4 other people would have loved to have. When they went back to camp they brought back leftovers. Janu & Caryn both helped themselves to it which the losing 4, & myself, thought was tacky & rude. You already got to eat as much as you wanted. Don’t touch the stuff you bring back for the losers.
The Immunity Challenge was another water stunt. They had to go in the water & go under this cage thing. It reminded me of a jungle jim. As the tide came in they would have less & less space to breathe until finally they would be under water. Last one would get Immunity. But there was a twist. 1st person to quit would have to spend the night on an island by themselves.
Probst did his usual schtick preying on them. Janu fell for it & got all panicky & after only 6 minutes she quit. Jeff then chastised the rest for not being sympathetic when it was he who started in on Janu.
Caryn was out after 55 minutes. The rest fell not long after that. Katie, Jenn & then Steph. Then Gregg. It was between Ian & Tom. Ian would go underwater & then come back up. Tom seemed to find air & he won his 2nd Immunity.
Janu had to leave immediately for her night of solitude. She was nervous at first & had a hard time making fire but she eventually got it & ended up loving being away from the others. She danced on the beach in the moonlight. She now realizes it is her against them. This is the happiest she has been there.
Gregg tells Ian & Tom that he thinks Steph should go instead of Janu since she is the strongest. Tom has his secret alliance w/ Steph so he tried to sway Gregg but it didn’t work. He was firm that Steph was a threat & Janu wasn’t so they should keep Janu.
Janu comes back the next day. She said she didn’t want to. Steph tells the camera that she is told Janu will go but she thinks it will be her & is nervous.
Janu says at Tribal Council that she did great on her own. She thinks that the others were half sincere & half playing the game when they were supportive of her. She feels like she doesn’t belong. Caryn was shocked by her words. She said it is all in Janu’s head.
Tom said the game shifts & now you don’t vote by who you like or who you don’t but how it positions you in the game. Gregg doesn’t question people’s worthiness for his vote cuz everyone is a threat. He thinks you should keep someone that isn’t going to try. Katie was asked why should they keep her? She said cuz she isn’t a threat in challenges. Janu had to answer the same question. She said there is no reason. They can get rid of her cuz she has had such a rocky road. She said if she were them she would be sick of her. If she goes she is completely satisfied w/ her experience. Ian said she has the power to quit. Steph was upset that there was a chance that she was going & Janu wants to go so she doesn’t deserve to be there while Steph would kill to be there. Janu said she got what she needed from this experience. Steph said Janu doesn’t deserve to be there. Steph cried & said she knows she is in the hot seat. Tom said there is a dilemma now on who to vote for.
Probst pushed & pushed Janu just like he did at the Immunity Challenge. Eventually she crumbled & said if she had it her way she would ask the tribe to vote her out to save Steph. Probst then basically dared her to set her torch down & she said she is willing to do that. Steph said don’t do it on her account. Janu then laid her torch down & quit the game. Steph smiled. I can’t remember his name but remember when the 1st guy quit the game & how disgusted Probst was? He didn’t treat Janu like that at all. AND she still gets to be jury which I don’t think she should. She quit, she should go home. Probst put her torch on the ground.
Next week Steph rallies the girls to a girl power alliance & wants to go after Tom. Gregg hopes not getting Steph out last week doesn’t come back to haunt them.
