This fight was UGLY!

After last week’s fight Peter tells Sly he was inspired by him. The West was in shock that they have now lost a fight.
Brent was spotlighted so we know he will be fighting today. All his scenes were about how religious he is.
Sugar Ray said he hasn’t had gloves on since 1997 so has had to adjust to getting hit in the face when he spars w/ the guys. He thinks Brent has good hand speed.
Anthony is the other one w/ airtime so he will fight Brent. But wait, the guys have already agreed to the match-ups. Brent will fight Joey, Anthony will fight Jimmy & Juan gets Tariq. Anthony tells the camera he doesn’t want to fight Jimmy & wants Brent cuz that would be better for him & his kids. Here is where he loses me. He lies to his team & continues on as if he is going to fight Jimmy.
Anthony called home to talk to his kids. It is hard being away from them & missing their 1st day back at school. His parents are divorced so that made him want to be the best Dad. He cries as he is missing his kids.
East got their 1st Reward & got to go to the Tonight Show & meet Jay Leno.
Anthony lies to his team & tells them they have to win the challenge cuz he wants to call Jimmy out. Jesse got to compete in the challenge since they lost a guy. They had to load up medicine balls in a net that one guy was working from on top of a bridge. Then they would pull the net up & the guy would unload them into a truck. They were neck-and-neck but WEST WON again.
Anthony toed the line & did he pick Jimmy as agreed upon? Hell no. He called out Brent. Everyone was shocked. Joey was pissed since he was the one who was supposed to fight Brent. He felt betrayed cuz he considered Anthony a friend. Jimmy walked out but came right back. He was mad cuz he was all psyched up to fight & had worked hard to prepare.
Anthony said he has to feed his family. Joey felt used cuz he worked hard to win that challenge so Anthony could call out Jimmy. Anthony doesn’t care if he made enemies. Joey said if he had told them before what he was planning it wouldn’t be as bad. I agree. It is not that he took the ***** way out & chose a fighter that wasn’t his equal but rather that he was so sneaky & devious about it. He gives boxing a bad name.
All the guys, but Anthony, go out to have a good time. They all bond & really think of each other like brothers. The guys are drinking & we have to hear Brent talk about Jesus again for his reason why he doesn’t. Brent laughed & said he would have rather fought Anthony anyway.
Anthony stays home & plays w/ himself, I mean plays pool by himself.
Brent & Ishe read the bible together the next morning.
& now the cheesy fake press conference is back. Tony Potts from ‘Access Hollywood’ asked about the guys fighting not being the ones that were agreed upon. Brent said it was the Lord’s plan for him to fight Anthony instead.
Anthony said if they don’t understand why he is doing this then they don’t know what a real Dad is. I beg to differ. You could be doing this for your kids by picking the easier fight but you didn’t have to be a lying bastard about it. It is the WAY you did it, not what you did, that makes it so hard to swallow.
Brent’s wife spends time w/ him in the locker room while Anthony is alone. But then surprise! His Mom shows up w/ his kids. He starts bawling immediately.
The celebrities I spotted in the audience this time were Burt Reynolds, Sharon Stone & Vin Diesel.
Brent comes out 1st & West cheers him on. When Anthony comes out his team just sat there w/ their arms crossed. They weren’t supporting this snake & I don’t blame them.
The fight was just brutal. I actually was sobbing though it. Anthony kicked the shite out of Brent & it wasn’t pretty. I don’t know why I cried as hard as I did watching this. I guess it is cuz I had nothing against Brent so didn’t enjoy seeing him clobbered. It just really affected me.
Anthony won by KO 38 seconds into the 3rd round when the fight was called. Sharon Stone went up to Brent & said he had a lot of heart & she enjoyed watching him fight. Jesse was pissed & said to Sly that Anthony took the easy way out.
Sly talked to Brent & Brent was crying. Sly said he has unbelievable heart, gave him a hug & told him he would miss him. Brent told the camera he felt weak & is sorry he let everyone down. He said it was Lord’s will. His wife came into the locker room to console him & they both agreed it was God’s plan.
Sly said the fight was tough to see. Tommy said Anthony was too much for Brent. Sugar Ray said Anthony had to do what was best for his family. Sly said Brent was a smaller guy than Anthony. Sugar Ray said he would have knocked him out too cuz he was trying to take food out of his kids’ mouths. I guess you got to think like that to do this for a living.
Next week Ishe is pissed at Anthony.
