Were they surprised to be voted out?

Willard said he is not angry that he was voted out. He would have done the same thing if he was them. He was physically weak. He had a lot of problems that we didn’t get to see that started on day 3 w/ heat exhaustion & his feet. He would have chopped him up & used him for shark bait if he were them.

Angie is miffed that she was voted out. The Immunity came out of nowhere & they weren’t warned about it. The person they had all agreed to vote out got the Immunity & then she had a good idea she would be the one to go. There are only so many people left on the tribe so you knew there was a good chance it would be you. They didn’t have a back up plan in case they couldn’t vote out Ibrehem. It was tough. She didn’t expect to tie w/ Bobby Jon but knew it would be her to go cuz she didn’t have a chance against the coconut getter.

Willard is frustrated cuz the only time you are perceived as weak is before the merge. He was hoping to get to the merge by Kokor winning all the Immunities. He was not happy to go. He felt like it was a bad dream where you try to run fast but can only go slower & slower. He isn’t normally weak & feeble.

Angie is frustrated that she was voted out. She played so hard & felt she deserved to be there longer. She wasn’t in the mindset that she would be the one to go that night.

Julie Chen pointed out how she did a complete turnaround from being the last picked to excelling on challenges. She asked if she thought there was anything Angie could have done differently to have stayed in the game. Angie said she doesn’t think so. She regrets who she aligned w/ & not having back up choices. Neither Angie or Willard had any regrets about doing the show. Willard said he is still playing the game in his own way.

They had to stick around cuz in the next half hour they would answer viewer questions. Renee took over that segment & asked Willard if it was true that he didn’t tell anyone he was a lawyer & said he was a mailman. He said that is true. He did it cuz everyone hates lawyers & lawyers know that. He said 3 people there were lawyers & none of them admitted it. He was a mailman in college though.

The first caller told Angie she was her favorite & asked why she didn’t go after James. Angie said she doesn’t know why she didn’t. The caller said he wasn’t a strong player & Angie & Stephenie were. Angie said they thought that James would be easier to get out later than Ibrehem & Bobby Jon & they could beat James in challenges.

Renee pointed out that Angie was constantly pixilated. Angie said they were dropped off in their clothes. She had brought a really great swimsuit but didn’t get to wear it. She had jean shorts but wanted to wear as little as possible during the day to keep her other stuff dry & clean to wear at night.

The next caller asked Willard if he was aware of the alliance between Coby, Janu, Gregg & Jenn & would he have tried to join if he had? Willard didn’t know about it until he watched the show. He doesn’t know when it formed & would have jumped at the chance to be in an alliance of 5.

The final caller said Angie was awesome in all the challenges. How did she feel about Stephenie voting against her? Angie said she knew it was coming even though they were in a mini-alliance of the only girls. Actually they both voted for Bobby Jon the first round & that surprised her cuz she thought everyone would vote for her. Bobby Jon is a workhorse & the provider so they couldn’t get rid of him.
