They have their final mission where they have to trust one to direct them through an obstacle course while they are blindfolded.

Kendal tells Eric she wouldn’t change anything but there’s things she would do differently. She said she spent too much time with him & didn’t get to know others as well as she’d like. Eric said he has now gone through mistakes. *Darrell said Raquel & Rachel are always making drama about Eric & Shane and gossiping. He thinks they’re grown and can do what they want. Kendal tells Eric that Rachel is treating her differently now. *She thinks she was there for Rachel as much as she’s been there for her and now she acts like she doesn’t want to be her friend.
They are told to go to California for their last mission.
Kendal asked Rachel if she’s done something wrong. Rachel said she is tired of the Eric/ Kendal show and tired of talking about it. *Kendal understands that Rachel can’t hang out w/ her without Eric there.
They get to their final college. Their mayors tell them they can go to their computer to find out their prize. They find out they will get a trip around the world if they complete the exercise in trust. They have to pick their most trusted person. They chose Darrell.
They have to drive the RV onto a big crane & it is then lifted into the air. An obstacle course is attached to it. They have to walk across it in the air. They will all be blindfolded but Darrell who will walk across first & then he has to direct the rest across.
Darrell goes. First he has to drop backwards into a net. Then he has to walk the beam. He has to walk over a raised part of the beam. He encounters a thing that has 3 steps and is made out of a mat material so it collapses as you step on it. Then he has to walk through 3 boards that are standing vertically so he has to maneuver through it. There are more steps. Then is a bunch of PVC you have to walk across. Lastly there is a smaller beam the size of a balance beam that has cargo net on it. If you fall but can grab the net, you can start from that point. If you fall completely you have to start all over. Darrell completes the walk.
Kendal goes first for the blindfolded people. She does fine until the balance beam. She falls but grabs the net. She finishes on the 2nd try.
Rachel completes it with no problems.
Raquel gets to the balance beam & she’s really scared but she gets it done.
Eric fell onto his knees instead of falling backwards. He walks the course with small steps that looks odd. He completes it though.
All that’s left is Shane. A mayor gives him their trips around the world. If he completes it, they get them. He falls a bunch of times off the balance beam. Kendal tells him she felt more secure when she went sideways. He tries it & completes it. They have won their handsome reward.
Eric cries. *He is excited but sad that it’s their final mission. *Raquel said reality sets in that it’s over. *Kendal said they are a family & they’re tight but get into fights but with family you want to fix the problems.
They get to the ground & Kendal kisses it. They go to a nice dinner. They go around & each say something nice about one person. Shane said he wanted to kiss Raquel when he first saw her. He was so happy & when she started talking on the RV he started laughing. He said she is as much a part of this as anyone. *Darrell said he learned from Shane that he can be friends with a gay person & would go to bat for him any day. Rachel said Kendal has been there for her & they talk about anything. Kendal talks about Eric & they all laugh. She said they have a sick & twisted relationship & he doesn’t always do what she thinks is the right thing but he always means well. They toast each other.
*Kendal said Road Rules means pushing yourself mentally & physically & facing people when you don’t want to anymore. It’s about finding things in yourself you didn’t know you had.
*Darrell said they learned how to live together & respect each other. He said it ended up a happy story they’ll have the rest of their lives.
*Rachel said it’s about finding common ground with different types of people.
*Raquel said even though she hasn’t been there as long, she has made her own history with them.
*Shane says he loves them and thanks them for loving him.
Raquel leaves first. The original group hug. Darrell leaves next & then one by one the rest of them leave. Rachel and Shane are the last to go.
