Julie Chen said that Lex stabbed Ethan in the front instead of the back since he told him what he was doing before Tribal Council. Ethan had a couple issues with Lex coming to him & telling him cuz Lex said he wanted to be business like on the island but then takes him aside like a friend. He can’t have his cake & eat it too. He was angry at Lex while out there but not mad now cuz it is just a game. He doesn’t think it was the SMARTEST move to get rid of him since they got rid of their 2 strongest guys (him & Colby) & now they won’t win any challenges.

Ethan thought he had a chance to sway Kathy & get Jerri out since no one liked her.

Julie asked if it was a smart move for Lex to tell him in case Ethan was a juror & would that affect Ethan’s vote? Ethan said you think 2 ways. Do you reward Lex for getting to the end & backstabbing people cuz he just did what he had to to get there? Or is there no way you vote for him?

Even though it didn’t show it last night, he did hug everyone before he left. He was angry then but it is just a game & they got him. They did the right thing.

Julie asked about the Immunity Challenge & that Jerri was the one to go into the final round. Ethan said he & Lex both hit 3 targets but Jerri claimed she was an “accomplished archer” so they went with her.

Julie brought up that Rob & Amber now have a relationship on the island & asked if that is a smart move in the game. Ethan said he doesn’t think it is smart strategy cuz he would try to break that up. He wouldn’t go that way. People want to separate a bond. But if they like each other he thinks more power to them.

Julie tried to get him to talk about his relationship with Jenna M. All he said is that they are best-friends & $2 million is better than one.

The next segment the host is switched & instead of Julie it is now Renee. She asked if he was happy that at least he made it the farthest out of the former winners. He said he is mad he didn’t make it farther but it is a little consolation & it’s nice to know he did the best out of the former winners.

The first caller asked if he was a little surprised that he didn’t do better during the log roll since he is a soccer player. Ethan was a little surprised. He did win against Rupert but then lost to Rob. It was harder than it looks & they were weaker from getting skinnier.

Next caller asked if he thought he was on a tribe with Big Tom does he think their friendship would have helped him get farther? Ethan said he thinks it might have but Tom felt he’d be a target cuz people knew they had a close friendship & were friends out of the show. He said Tom is smarter than people think & wants to see him do well in the game.

Renee said she thought Ethan would be voted out last week since he blew that big lead in the Immunity Challenge. She pointed out that he also broke the oar. Ethan joked that the prop wasn’t made well.

The next caller asked why no one used someone’s glasses to start a fire? Ethan said they tried but no one was successful.

Renee is surprised that when you ask Ethan did he have fun this time he says no. Ethan said he didn’t enjoy himself. He thinks the novelty wore off & it wasn’t new & exciting. He knew he was going to be hungry, cold & miserable. In hindsight though maybe he had a little fun cuz he just loves playing the game.

The final caller asked him if he really thought a former winner could win or did he go for the adventure? Ethan said he hoped he would win. But it became obvious that no former winner would make it to the end. He & Jerri went to every Tribal Council but 1 & the TCs were all about revenge & people were resentful.
