Colby knew at some point his strength would be an issue & everyone knew how he did in the individual challenges in The Outback so he knew he would be a target. He just didn’t think it would be this soon. Harry said that Colby was the alpha-male & Colby said it wasn’t about control but about maintaining the strength of the tribe. He said he was not a puppet master.

He doesn’t know how Kathy would have voted if she had been there but she & Lex were pretty tight. Colby knew he’d be a fool to trust Lex all the time cuz he is a great player. Lex had him convinced that he was safe at least one more time. But Colby knew he was on borrowed time.

They brought Ethan over so they wouldn’t have to compete against him anymore cuz he is a great athlete. Harry asked if he thought Ethan was a choker cuz of the last challenge. Colby said it was hard to take that Ethan lost the lead & he apologized to the tribe & to Colby personally. Mogo Mogo did have a change to win & the boats were side by side at one point & they still lost so you can’t blame Ethan.

Colby is glad that after 3 & a half years Jerri finally got her revenge. Harry switches gears & plugs Colby’s razor ads. Colby said he is the Schick guy but ironically he hardly ever shaves. Schick doesn’t know this but after the game he shaved his head completely (with a Schick Quatro) cuz of all the sand fleas on the island.

They showed a clip of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ that Colby appeared on last week. Colby said it was funny & a lot of fun. He had a blast doing that show.

In the second segment Julie Chen takes over. She wanted to point out that the whole tribe didn’t turn against Colby since Ethan didn’t vote against him & Kathy wasn’t there. Colby said he thinks Ethan was just as shocked as he was. Lex said last night that they had the 3 votes so they didn’t need Ethan.

Julie brought up how Shii Ann had said that Colby had underestimated her powers. Colby was more amused by Shii Ann saying that her strongest ally was gone when she really should have said her decision maker was gone (Kathy).

The first caller said that Colby had been bragging that he had his speech for Jerri all planned & then all he did was shrug his shoulders. What was he going to say? Colby said it sounds corny but he didn’t say anything cuz of the old if-you-don’t-have-anything-nice-to-say=don’t-say-anything-at-all. Other people get malicious in their speeches. He didn’t know if they would be voting out Jerri or him so he wasn’t going to get cocky & tell yer see ya or he would be eating humble pie today.

The next caller asked if he thought Mogo Mogo will go down now that he is gone? Colby doesn’t know. He was an asset for physical challenges but they still have Ethan & Lex. The 3 guys had a lot of camaraderie & would go out all the time & get dozens of clams for the tribe.

Julie said that Jeff Probst has said that he blew the call & that Rob hit the water first in that Immunity Challenge. They show the clip & slo-mo it so you see it’s obvious that Rob’s foot hit the water first. Colby said they may have won that battle but they were beat by 3 flags he thinks so it doesn’t mean they would have won Immunity. Julie said Rich Hatch feels differently. Colby said he is sure Hatch does. Colby is friends with Probst & he told Colby he missed that call. Colby said he will take it out on him at the poker table.

The last caller asked if he has changed styles. Colby didn’t understand her question. Did she mean his game or himself? She said himself. Colby said no. He is the same guy & played as hard as he could. He got a lot of flak for giving it to Tina the first time & doesn’t regret that & wanted to come back & play the same way again to show it could be done.
