8 engaged couples race to get the wedding of their dreams. They each have to compete in competitions to become power couples who get to decide which couple will be eliminated.

Previously Susan&Coyt won both challenges and became the only power couple. Their alliances with Becca&Andy, Carolyn&Ethan and Tonya&Andree seemed strong till they received last minute information from Cindy. This caused suspicion and eliminated Andy&Becca. Now they wonder who they can trust.
6 couples left, and it is anybody's game.
Ethan is not enjoying that Andy&Becca left, he is going to miss them, Carolyn agreed. Ethan felt the game change and it was quiet and the fun is gone and it is definitely a game.
Coyt&Susan made it obvious last week that they would take Chris&Cindy's word over anyone else.(we know they already made a mistake so this may be their downfall for believing a couple that helped them back-stab their alliance) They told Cindy&Chris how much they trust them. Susan in confession said Coyt wants to stay with their original alliance but Susan feels they need to reevaluate it for it may jeopardize their position. (Susan you are putting to much trust in the couple that help destroyed your alliances)
Host Lisa Dergan along with Colin Cowie are waiting for table selection decor. So they get to choose the table and the winning couple would get it. They are several different design. Colin wants them to find the table of their dreams and go sit at that table. There is a missing plate in each table, and in order to win the table of your dreams, the groom has to find the missing plate. Some may like the same design so you need to find the plate to get that design. And it is at the bottom of the fountain in front of the Venetian. And the men were told to go and off the went.
We see men running and Robert the ever clumsy trip and fell in the fountain. Robert claimed he didn't mean to. (yeah most people mean to fall.) Then Vinny claimed a plate, thinking he won, he began to parade the plate when it is the one that Susan&Coyt wanted. Susan recognized it and told Coyt that Vinny has their plate.(some people have all the luck) Vinny felt really stupid because he should have thrown the plate back. (that is what happened when you don't listen to instructions albeit the a bad one given though) So now Susan&Coyt got theirs already as usual.
Robert found a plate and he kept flagging it and lose control and Vinny grabbed it. Grace was rather upset that Robert let it go. In the end, Chris&Cindy and Robert&Grace were the only ones not getting the table they wanted. Host asked what was wrong and apparently Chris didn't even bother to try because he didn't want to get his shoes wet.
Cindy&Chris fight continues to their hotel room during lunch. She claimed they hardly fight but when they do, they really do. (Well you can tell because she looks like she is about to vomit) And he keeps telling him he is a guy and she can't believe he is worried about not getting wet. At this time he is mouthing something and have his hand up and that hand is censored. Hmmm. He move to the bedroom and said something and she kept saying shut up! repeatedly till my ears are bleeding well it isn't but you get my point. Then she proceeded to say she can't stand him and that he is a jerk and he doesn't know how to fight. Now they are arguing about who knows how to fight. Ayi yi yi. He wants to let it go and she refused to let it go and wants him to get off her back. (HUH?)
They are at the casion at the high-stakes blackjack table. (I don't know anything about gambling so I have no idea about this game) Lisa is telling them they are going to play with real $10,000 and in 20 hands, the couple with most money wins and get to keep the cash and becomes couple number one. Couples are excited.
Most have never seen that much money in front of them. Vinny is happy because he is good at this game and wants to take the winning from Coyt&Susan. The game begins, Coyt told Susan what to do, she doesn't want to, they argue and they lost their first hand and the bet $4000. Ethan didn't know how to play because he split a 20 but they got lucky and won that hand. The game continues, Grace had no idea what is going on Tonya thought they have won only 3 hands. After 10 hands this is how the scores stacked.

Vinny paid a lot of attention to Coyt since he knew they were the biggest threat. While Coyt knew that April&Vinny was probably at the top or slightly behind them. Tonya mentioned that they knew April&Vinny were doing well because you could see their stack but Susan hid hers so they didn't know how they did. Last hand, Vinny is trying to figure out how much Coyt&Susan have. April&Vinny decided to bet 1500, Coyt&Susan bet 500 but Chris&Cindy decided to go big $5000. V&A had 19. C&C had 10 and Chris said to put all their money in. S&C had 18 and stayed. With the big win, Chris is convinced they got power couple.

Again S&C won power couple number 1 so that is 3 games in a row for them. 4 in the whole competition. Cindy is giving a pretend clap. S&C is so glad to win and of course to get the money. Vinny is pissed that he didn't play aggressive enough.
Returning from casino, Susan&Coyt planned to pay credit card debt. Robert is sick of them winning. Robert&Grace talking with April&Vinny consider themselves the losing couples and they suck. They think the threat would be Cindy&Chris(ITA) then they said it would be Andree&Tonya.
During free time they went several thrill rides. Ethan really enjoyed it and felt if that was a competition, they can win that. Now it is Robert&Grace turn to fight. Robert refused to go on those thrill rides, he claimed his hand is hurt plus he doesn't have a stomach for it. Then you can hear her say beep, beep, beep, beep. She felt that they haven't performed well in competitions and want to join in the fun. Now at the disco while everyone is still having fun, they were still fighting and are not talking. Rob said sometimes he thinks a lot about wanting to marry her to 50/50 and will see how it goes.
Next day, we are still with Robert&Grace who do admit they fight a lot, small things, big things. Ethan&Carolyn would like to win power couple. So do April&Vinny.
Next competition, what ifs game. Ladies were asked question and answered, then guys have to guess their answer and winner will be power couple number two. There will be 5 questions.
If she saw you glance at a pretty woman in public... would she
A.laugh it off
B:Get upset
C:Does not apply because you don't look like other woman.
Everyone said A, April&Vinny and Ethan&Carolyn said B. Chris answered A but Cindy answered C. She claimed she wouldn't laugh it off, she wouldn't get upset, she wouldn't do anything. (I don't think she understood C, it meant does not apply because he doesn't even look at other women not you, I find her answer is more her trying to show how she should be than answer the question truthfully)
After 3 questions....Susan&Coyt are in the lead with 3 right answers
Finally Tonya&Andree and Cindy&Chris are tied in first place. Other couples leave and now a tie breaker question. Andree&Tonya are power couple number 2.
Tonya felt it was hard to sent someone home. So now time for deliberation.
All couple have entered the elimination ceremony hall. So in order of preference.
Chris&Cindy(I am still curious why Tonya who knew from last episode that Cindy didn't hear from Andy&Becca that they wanted Susan&Coyt eliminated but was just a guessed. And Andy&Becca were eliminated based on that guessed)
Grace&Robert
Ethan&Carolyn(to me these two are the coolest couple)
So April&Vinny were eliminated. Vinny said all the other couples have been great and it has been fun. April felt it put things into perspectives today.
Everyone else said good-bye. April&Vinny were disappointed but they took it well.
We see in deliberation room earlier, Susan&Coyt felt April&Vinny as a threat and Tonya&Andree agrees.
Vinny&April will be married September 6, 2003. Soon eh.
Next week... a terrifying physical challenge pushes couple over the edge. Tonya doesn't want to do it. Susan&Coyt fights. Till next show which will be Saturday August 23rd, 2003.
