Why was he so bossy?

Harry interviewed Roger. Harry said everyone thought it would be men against women but almost everyone was against Roger. They cut to Rob’s clips dissing Roger. Roger said he is doing pretty good. He had no idea he was going to be voted off until Tribal Council. Then Jeff Probst asked them a question about confidence & Roger didn’t like the way he answered it & it led him to believe he was going. He thought the men would all stick together. The 6 of them had agreed they would & it was all cool. He thought they had it locked.

He had a sense the kids thought he was too bossy but thought someone would want to carry him to the end cuz he wouldn’t get any votes. In the jungle, shelter is the most important thing so wouldn’t change a thing about him pushing to get it done. He was his own worst enemy. He knew he should bring his bossiness down but he was originally stuck with all men & Daniel & Ryan pushed the wrong buttons.

He had a great time & enjoyed it. He is a Vietnam Vet & did several tours. He said the Gulf War was strictly a live fire exercise but now the marines are on the ground. He thinks they are doing a good job & he’s proud of them. He thinks we should support our troops. He thinks it’s important for everyone to go on with their lives & have an escapism, like watching TV.

Harry asked if he has any animosity towards anyone on the show. He said he said at the end last night that he questions the integrity of Alex & Rob. They didn’t show everything with Deena but she had a cocky idea on how to do the water & he told her to just go ahead. She also wanted 2 fires so he told her to go ahead & build them herself.

Watching has been fun & he looks forward to the ultimate outcome.

I am going to have lunch & then I will watch the Survivor Insider clips & will recap them. I looked at the titles & they are mostly about Roger so I don’t anticipate it being that interesting.
