Did she bring in the granola bar?

First we see clips of Janet being accused of bringing in the granola bar & then Jeff snuffing her torch. Harry comments on how different she looks now. (I agree. She looked absolutely beautiful!) She said it's not hard to improve on the jungle frump she had going. She said she absolutely did not bring in the granola bar. She adores Survivor, it's her favorite show. She would not try to cheat. No way. She knows some people think there are no rules on Survivor & that they think cheating is fair. That's not the way she plays it. Harry comments on how stupid it was for starving women to then burn the granola bar. She said it was contraband & no one wanted to be a part of it. (My husband thinks the old saying applies here, "Whoever smelt it, dealt it." So Jeanne, who was first to accuse someone else, brought it in. I think it was a MB plant.) Janeet said people felt if they said they should divvy it up then that would prove guilt. So they threw it in the fire.

Harry thinks this edition is the most mean-spirited & the gloves are off. She agrees that they have turned up the heat & have people with the strongest personalities ever. Plus the enironment is so harsh.

Harry asked about the shelter not being built & people laying around being lazy with bad attitudes. She said there was very little laying around & they worked non-stop.

He asked why people didn't cut Christy any slack. Janet said she & Christy were close & there isn't enought time to show everything. She doesn't think the others gave Christy a chance but not out of mean-spiritedness. They are just working so much there isn't enough time to work on personal relationships so they suffered.

A caller asked why she stood by & let Joanna rip into Christy. Janet said both women are strong personalities & it wasn't her place so didn't get involved. Joanna & Christy just rubbed each other the wrong way.

The next call asked why no on took a leadership role? Janet said no one wanted to be a target & be voted off.

The last caller asked if she though her age would play as big a factor as it seems to have? Janet said they do not know where they are going until they leave. She got suspicious when she saw everyone & that she was the oldest. She kind of crashed & burned after being without sleep for 3 days. It wasn't the food or water. It was no sleep. But on the 3rd or 4th day she was adjusting to it.

Her advice for others going through a mid-life crisis is to buy a sportscar or get a new hairdo. Don't do Survivor.
